New Challenge over at Crafting with Dragonflies

Our next challenge over at Crafting with Dragonflies
is one you will all love to be a part of.

Our Dragonfly Leader Hilde asked us to make a
'One for the Girls' card.
How easy and awesome is that! Endless ideas for this one.
The sponsor for this challenge is

and the winner will receive 4 digi's of their choice.

and

who are giving away a $12 gift certificate to their shop

Delicious Doodles were also generous in supplying
the Design Team with their favourite digi image.

I selected -
    Hydrangea and Butterfly.
- and here is my card

I chose 2 different colours of pink for my backing.
The darker pink at the front was embossed with Couture Creation - Royalty
I cut out the focal background with Spellbinders Fleur de Lis
Hand cut the Delicious Doodles digi and coloured the surround in pink.
The butterfly was coloured in a variety of colours
and the leaves I added gloss with Dimensional Magic.
The hydrangea was then covered in lots of little flowers
punched out from a floral designer paper
with the MS hydrangea punches.
Start Dust Stickles was added to the centres.
Finished with Kaisercraft pearls and own ribbon.

and here is a closer view of the flowers.

  1. I was so looking forward to reading all the details on how you made this. Your flowers are so very creative and to have used floral paper for your punched pieces, what a great idea. Beautifully colored butterfly too.
