'Celebrate'

Today's post is for Trend Week at Just Us Girls
and Hosting is Sue choosing Galaxy Night Sky or Backgrounds.

There are so many gorgeous galaxy creations out there
and this was such fun trying to replicate one.
I made mine such a long time ago I can't remember
the colours of Tim's Oxide's I used - sorry!
I did add a spray of iridescent medium and also
splatters to make it look like snow.
Diecut my houses - even added paper
to the inside to show all the lights were on
with more shimmer on the roof area.
Added some very old starform stickers,
the celebrate sentiment die from STAMPlorations,
matted then fixing it to my card stock
and my galaxy card is done.

Do pop over and see what our Guest Cathy
and the Team created and come join us this week.
Hope to see you there.

A Cling Wrap Thank You

I was soooooooo excited when I saw the results
you get from inking with Cling Wrap
so of course I now have a multitude of
crazy coloured patterns and have made another card

My Mix is - Cling Wrap, Brusho Powders
Stamping, Smooching, Die Cutting

I used basic white card stock.
Insert has been smooched with the same
Brusho powder but watered down and smooched
with a smidgen of Iridescent Medium.
My focal leaves are from Kaisecraft cut from
photo paper after cling wrapping
in shades of Brusho Greens.
I cut and popped my frame
attaching my leaves after I
inked my Thank You sentiment from SU.
I will make one more card with this technique
and put the others away for a rainy day and
move on to something else.
Thanks Ladies for a super fun challenge.
Till next time - Cherrio from

Flowers 'Bloom'

Hi there Crafty Ones - I am here today for my first card
Designing with the Anything Goes with Dies Team
 over at Happy Little Stampers
You will have seen my first card
for the Water Colour Challenge a few days ago.
Now you get a bonus seeing 2 cards
a month for Happy Little Stampers. Yay!
Still a Happy Little Stamper -
just jumped ship in a new direction!
I was looking for something a little different for the background
of my floral image and remembered my Twinkling H2O's so
that is what I used - Millard Green and did a waterwash
getting an ombre effect using watercolour paper.
Did the same for my Kaisercraft leaves.
The tiny flowers are from
 CUTplorations Trendy-Spring-Blooms-Dies
cutting several and mounting.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations Bloom-Happy
Added a few SU gems and some variegated cotton
and my card is done.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS
AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER,
YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!
How good is THAT!
Check out all the details HERE.

Don't forget to check out what my Team Mates created
and come join us this month.
Love to see you in the Gallery.

A New Technique for ME.

Hi there Crafty Friends.
When I saw the new challenge over at CAS Mix Up
I knew I had to finally try my hand at their
 January Mix Challenge Cling Wrap.

I played around with a few different elements
and decided that the Brusho one was the nicest.
I do have a few other bits and will keep them for another time.
My Mix is Cling Wrap, Brusho's, Stamping, Die Cuts, Bling.
This time I used the cling wrap technique on SU Glossy card
spritzed with water then added my
Brusho's in Turquoise, Purple and Prussian Blue.
It does have a nice little shine to it.
I cut my top piece with a wonky stitched die twice
and popped it against the background.
My birthday sentiment is from Stampendous
inked in Tim's Mermaid Lagoon.
Finished with a few sequins and gems.
What a fun technique!

Seize the Birthday have started off their challenges
for the New Year with an Anything Goes Theme
so will pop this one over there and a new to me Challenge Blog
SumMore Fun asked for Something New
The heading says it all - New Technique.

UPDATE! Sending this card over to CAS Watercolour for their
January Challenge - Birthday.
Thanks Bonnie & Loll.

Thanks so much for dropping in today and
Thank You for your Kind Comments.
