A Distress Stamping Tutorial at IBS

There is so much happening over at
Inspired by Stamping

Colour challenges Tutorials and More and if you had been checking out my blog
you will see how busy I have been. Just loving it all.

On to the current challenge Kendra has a
and I decided to have a play with another new stamp I recently purchased there.
It is Graceful Hydrangea and I have used the Main Image as my Focal Point
and the smaller one to use as my distressing.
The sentiment is also from that gorgeous set.

I don't know if I have the technique completely right
but certainly enjoyed getting my fingers inked.

I did bling it up somewhat by mixing distress inks and iridescent medium
to my work pad and inked my stamp from there being careful
not to ink it all to try and get that distressed look.
I cut out the main image with Spellbinders Heart Circles
and backed it with plain card stock.
I also used the medium on that image and added liquid pearls
and a small amount of diamond dust to the larger flower
(which is a little hard to see).
Finished with a few pearls in the corner.
