It's for REMEMBRANCE DAY

It is REMEMBRANCE DAY
and the day we all remember all those brave soldiers
who fought for their countries and still doing so.
We will remember them at the 11th hour of the 11th month.
***
I made this card as my THANK YOU to all those that
lost their lives and those still fighting.
Today I especially remember a friend who's husband
went to Vietnam and unfortunately passed away
some time ago.

***

My card is really a simple one but
all about the POPPY.

My simple recipe -
Red Green & white card stock
Stencil - hand made
and background inked with
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Poppy - Memory Box Die
Sentiment - Stampin' Up

There are a few challenges I would like to enter this card in -
Designer's Choice at The House that Stamps Built -
Sweet Stampin has  - Poppies or Red for Remembrance
and
All Sorts - Poppies/Remembrance

Thanks for popping in to see my Poppy card.
