It's Designer's Choice at The House - Heat Embossing

My friend Kathy Stacy has one of my favourite techniques
for the current DC Challenge at
The House that Stamps Built Here
and she has asked us to create a card with Heat Embossing.
Thanks Kathy - I love doing this especially with RI stamps.

I have made a couple of card and here is the first one.

I went cas on this one by just using white card stock
The gorgeous flower is from
Repeat Impressions - Daffodils 904W
I cut out an oval from a Spellbinder die for masking
The embossing folder is from Stampin' Up
Sentiment from Inspired by Stamping
Inks - Tim Holtz
Broken Chins/Stormy Sky
Memento - Pistachio Summer Sky
Dandelion/Olive Grove
Black Embossing Powder

So you see it is pretty simple and I will send this off
to a friend who is a little under the weather.

I will post my second card a little later.
Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Oh - wow - another one! Good for you - you will get double, double entries. Wow - you aim to be winner - best of luck to you. I think I like this one even better but then again, I'm a sucker for distress inking. The background is so beautiful.
