We're off and running for 2016 at Crafty Cardmakers & More.

It's a New Year -  New Challenges to try and
2 New Designers.
Welcome to the Team Angela Judy & Ngaere

For our first Challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers -
hosting this one is Sally and she has chosen
New Baby-Marriage-Home etc - you get the drift.
***
My niece is due to have a baby in a few months so it was
a perfect time to make a Baby Card.
Starting with white cs as my base I then cut some
scraps pieces of paper on an angle embossing
with some very old Cuttlebug Embossing Borders.
Perfect size...
These were attached to a white base.
I then added some pink cs topped with
some scrap DP.
Added various coloured buttons a little cotton
and some rhinestones.
My tag was cut from Kaisercraft  Tag Die
and BABY was cut with Cuttlebug Typewriter dies.
I just love those cb dies. They are one of the first things
I bought many years ago when I was just starting out
making cards.
***
I am playing along at
Cuttlebug Mania as their challenge is -
use  'New' in your project. Got that one covered (Baby)
where I have used letters - yes that too.

So there you have it...
Thanks so much for dropping in.

  15. What a fabulous card Ina, and a wonderful idea for using up scraps of card. I have those embossing borders too and have never used them, so I think I might have to steal your idea sometime if that is OK.

  16. Oh my gosh, Ina! This is just too cute. I love the way you creatively used your scraps. I will have to pin this to my pinterest board. I am getting over run with scraps. It is such a happy and sweet card. I know your niece will treasure it.
