It's 'Colour Week' at Just Us Girls

It's Colour Week at Just Us Girls
and Lisa is 'Hostess' choosing the colours
Aqua Kraft & White

I did have another card made but
had a touch of brown with it (naughty me)
so I went back to my craft room to make another one.

I have tried so many times to try and get the lovely
touch of glitter I added to different embossing powders
on my flowers but alas it just didn't happen.

Starting off with my kraft card base
I then cut out a white frame from MFT
stitched rectangles. I also did the same
to another piece of kraft card stock.
I cut it out before I realized I didn't need to
so attached it to my white frame before
popping the whole frame.
As I said earlier I mixed a few different
embossing powders together to get a
variegated effect.
My floral stamp is an old one from
GKD - Springtime Silhouettes
which was stamped several times.
Sentiment is also from that set.
Finished off with a few rhinestones
and some aqua cotton.

Now pop over to Our Blog
and check out what our August Guest Colleen
has created with fellow Team Mates
- always fabulous!
Join us and you could be our
Chic of the Week and be in the running
for our Guest Designer in October.
Hope to see you there.

Thanks for dropping in and
I love reading your comments.
