Happy Mother's Day


Maria is Hosting our Word Week at Just Us Girls
and has chosen one that 
I am sure is close to all our Hearts.
Mother's Day is a very Special Day for me as I get to
spend it with one of my Daughters. It is a yearly
get together as we fly north to the Sunny Tropics to
celebrate that Special Day and 
2 of my Grandchildren's Birthdays.
Here is my 'Mother Card'

I love the big flower from SU's Fifth Avenue Floral 
and that is my choice as a feature
 using Brusho's Rose Red. I heat embossed it
in white before colouring.
Card base is kraft. Added some torn green paper
behind the Inspired by Stamping DP.
Leaves are cut from a Kaisercraft die.
Added a few pearls and ribbon to finish.

    I'm in love with this, SS. So vintage looking. The white and soft colors against the kraft is such a perfect look for this design. I just love it!

    I sure hope that your special day with your daughter and grand children is fabulous this year and every year. I love your card to celebrate that day. The rose caught my eye first, but then I saw the Eiffel Tower in the background and loved it even more. I must get me some brushos!

    I've never tried Brushos to color a large flower but it looks fantastic, Ina. I love the torn paper edges too.

    LOVE what you have done with that beautiful flower. Your coloring is spectacular, and that patterned paper is perfect. Do you guys celebrate Mother's Day the same as us? I know they don't in the UK. Wonderful design on that card!
