It's the Middle of the Month and time for me to remind you
Our Current Challenge over at Mix It Up has been
running for a few weeks now. Have you checked it out yet?
Here is what I had fun making and playing with our
optional twist of Distressing!
It can be using inks or tools. I chose both.
There is a lot going on here so I will start with
my background. I had a fellow Mixed Up Girl
Cheryl (big Thank You) come to stay with me
after we went to a craft show and
she brought with her - her gelli plate.
Well I had soooooooo much fun playing with this
new technique to me and I found a perfect piece
to start off my creation (if you call it that)
Here's a few close ups
These are the products I used here -
Texture Paste
Pop Art Stencil
Inka Gold - Apricot/Hydrangea
Dylusions Spray - Fuchsia
Mesh
SB Die cut from gelli plate background
STAMPlorations Artful Flutters/Mixed Grunge
Metallic Thread
Distress Inks - Black Soot/Aged Mahogany
and Dried Marigold.
Think I got everything!
Thanks for dropping in - love reading your comments
