It's a Summer Holiday

A Guid New Year tae ane an awe
And mony may we see!
( A wee bit of Scotland coming out here)

Time for New Challenges and
New Team Mates at Addicted to Stamps and More
and our first Challenge Theme is HOLIDAY
I'ts Summer here in Australia and it's all about
getting out in the great outdoors and having fun!
And that is how I chose to go Hot Air Ballooning!
I had a couple of goes at getting a nice sky background
and this one worked. I used
Tim's Oxides in Faded Jeans and Salty Ocean
Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke.
Balloons were inked up with
Memento Morocco/Eldenberry/Rhubarb Stalk
Added some clouds from Repeat Impressions.
Sentiment is computer generated
with Cliff  Richard's Summer Holiday running through my head.
This was cut with a MFT stitched die.
It's a little large and looking at it now should have been smaller.
Backed this with cs from Gina K onto white card.

Hope you will come over To Our Blog
to check out all the inspiration from the Returning Designers
 and  Newbie Gwendolyn
and join us with your Holiday Card.
Thanks for popping in - don't forget to
comment. Love reading your thoughts!

  6. A wonderful card and your sky is gorgeous with the flying balloons. I guess your season is summer where ours is winter. But so glad you shared yours and it gives me a warm feeling to see a more summery design.
