It's Photo Week at Just Us Girls

Hello and Welcome to today's post for
Photo Week at Just Us Girls.
Maria as Host has chosen this gorgeous photo.

I love seeing the changing colours of the trees as it
doesn't happen in my neck of the 'bush'
As it is coming into that time of the year over the pond
it's perfect timing for all those 'fall' coloured creations.
As I had only recently got a new to me stamp/die set from
STAMPlorations called Oh So Grateful
ohsogratefulstampsdie I had to play with it especially as I
wanted to focus on the pumpkins in the truck.
I got out Tim's Oxide inks and inked away
on glossy card stock wiping it with a
paper towel then adding layers of
clear embossing powder. I tried the crackle effect
by putting it in the freezer but didn't quite work out
as good as I wanted.
My background was smooched and then I cut out part of the
inked birch tree die putting them behind my cut out oval die.
The sentiment as you can see is from the stamp set above
I love how motley it stamps.
Finished my card by attaching to orange card stock.

Hop over and see how our Guest Julie and the Team
were inspired by that gorgeous photo and
come join us in our Gallery this week.

So much happening for me in the next few weeks
so if I don't get to comment much I apologize.
Life will get back to normal after
all my family and friends from far and wide
return to their own homes at the end of the month.

Thanks for stopping by

  1. A lovely showcase of your new pumpkin set, Ina...the shimmery is soooo pretty! My card is rather a fail but...I learned plenty in the creating of it. Will try to redeem myself later in the week, once I'm back home. Right now, preparing to bundle up and head out to officiate a cyclo-cross race. Snow and rain...icky!

Now that is interesting about crackling in the freezer! That's a new one on me x. Wonderful card and enjoy the time with family and friends x
