It's all about the 'LOVE'

There's a Love Hop and Linky Party going on over at
STAMPlorations and I joined in with a few Love Cards
Check out the details Here!

No photo description available.

I started my backgrounds with
Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Catherine Wheel
Hard to believe that both card backgrounds I made
are with the same powder. One has just had more
colour removed. These powders are just like
Brusho's or Magical's. I added water to the
paper then spread the powders.
I used the same ARTplorations Rows of Hearts Stencil
adding dimension with white texture paste.
I liked how the darker colour seeped through
the texture pasted stencil on this card.
After all that was dry I inked my new
STAMPlorations All the Love Typografia Romantique
stamp several times then decided to heat emboss with
Ranger Red Cinnabar. It has a lovely gold mix with it.
Finished this card with a few hearts from the
CUTplorations Clustered Hearts Die
that you will see more of on the card below.
Attached to red card base.
My second card  is only slightly different
as I thought the textured stencil would be
too big for the sentiment.
This is when I decided to get out my
CUTplorations Clustered Hearts Die
I had some spares left over from another project
adding a tiny gold one to the biggest heart.
Sprinkled some gold mica powder over the textured hearts.
The CUTplorations LOVE die was cut three times
from Art Alchemy Metallique Brass painted paper
 and mounted for dimension.
Finished by attaching to pink card base.

Thank you for information about the powders...I hadn't heard of them before. The stencil with the paste looks fabulous and love the colour variations on both of your cards and I too love how some of the colour seeped underneath. The embossing powder looks so pretty in the red cinnabar. Fabulous designs and absolutely love both of these mixed media cards. Thank you for the stunning inspiration x.
