first post for a New Blog I was invited to join.

Our Mood Board

I will be showing two project a month and my first one is
what we call a 'free post' where we have a free hand as to
what we make as long as we use products from The Store

I decided to just have a little play with some of the products
here by making a small canvas.

Sorry for the quality of this photo but I took it
on my phone and it is the only one I have.
The stencil is from AB Studio and
Tim Holtz Distress Grit Paste (super stuff)
I then added some colour with Art Alchemy Metallic Paint
then a splash of colour to the background with
Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Storm Cloud and some random text,
laces with a touch of Art Alchemy Wax for colour
and cheesecloth. Also a few black flowers to the back.
I then got sidetracked with my Bo Bunny butterfly and forgot
to photograph what I was doing.
Applied some gesso first then while it was wet
added some Little Birdie Mica Powder,
Art Alchemy Waxes in Rich Copper and Vintage Gold.
Topped with a painted cabachon.
As the photo has quite a bit of black I though it needed
a little more so added five tiny pearls (one is hiding) to the lace.

Here's a few close ups!

These are the items I used from Random Arts Online Store
in no particular order
Finnabair_Waxes Vintage Gold/Rich Copper
Little Birdie Natural Mica Powder
Bo Bunny Laser Cut Butterfly Chipboard
Other products used from my stash.
Thank you so much for taking time to drop by
I will be back next week for a bigger project for
