What's the 'Trend' at Just Us Girls?

This weeks Trend Challenge for Just Us Girls is a first for me -
Sue is our Host and wants to see

I thought I would 'try' colouring the lovely
Australian Cooktown Orchid Spray from
 Inspired by Stamping.
They are mostly 'purple' and became Queensland's
floral emblem in 1959 during celebrations to mark
the state's centenary.
I did try and replicate it somewhat here
using distress inks, gelatos and
Colourblast and LuminArte pots of colour.
Added a background wash and some splatters.
Finished with the Cooktown Orchid Sentiment
framed with purple and onto kraft card base.
Hope I get a pass!
Pop over and see how our Guest Joyce and the Team
showed off their no line watercolour creations.
I look forward to seeing many beautiful cards
in our Gallery this week.
Till next time -
