It's Snowing Somewhere!

It's our Photo Week at Just Us Girls
and looks like it's snowing 'somewhere'
with the beautiful photo Carol chose as our Host this week.

I did have a lot of fun working on my background
and thought I had overcooked it with too much colour
but turned out fine in the end.
Lots of Distress Oxide Inks were used for the
galaxy background. I then cut out the houses in black
adding different colours for the lights and doors.
Of course there is the snow falling and even added some
fantasy snow to the rooftops, trees and ground.
A bright star for the night sky and
finishing with attaching to black card base.
Pop over and see how our Guests Carol and Melanie
and the Team created their cards
with inspiration from that fabulous photo.
Hope to see yours in our Gallery.

  3. Boy you got THAT right!!! It's snowing HERE!!!! Your creation is just spectacular. I cannot for the life of me achieve a good night sky. You have done it perfectly here!!! The trick is to just go with it, even if it looks like a hot mess at the moment. I love everything about this.
