A Mixed Up Recycle Make

Hello and Welcome to my Mixed Media Make for

Here is the front and back view of my
recycled cardboard creation and
as you can see -  from a beer carton.

There's not a lot to explain here just
having a fun play time with lots of
different products used and adding
as I went along - not knowing how it would
look finished.
I have used gesso as a white wash on the corrugated cardboard.
Distress grit paste always adds some nice texture.
Some grungy stamping, stenciling and
a bit of bark hiding behind my popped
smaller cardboard. There is also cheesecloth
and lots of glitter. Art Alchemy Stamps, Paints and
Waxes were added for colour.
Die cut flower is from Cherry Lynne.
Finished with a simple sentiment.
I meant to add some blue wire to hang this piece
and forgot before photographing so will  do that.

Pop over and see what my Creative Team Mates
had fun with and hope you get a chance to add yours
to our Gallery this month.
Thanks for dropping in.

  4. Who knew it was from beer carton? The transformation is fabulous and the composition with this loose look is very interesting.
