We are in the 'Mood' this week at Just Us Girls
to offer a delightful array of all things Christmas
with our host Carol Mc
reminding us that it is just around the corner!
and a closer look!
My inspiration came from the lovely gold tones above - hence
I have used gold, bronze and red metallic card stock.
Die cut my star several times and backed it with the
old Spellbinders Twenty Seven die in copper.
Adhered the backing also in copper and cut the
gold metallic paper into three,
embossing the middle piece from a folder
that came with a magazine years ago.
Randomly placed pearls and one to the centre of my star.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful star, and that border strip is so beautifully embossed I wasn't sure if it was stamped and heat embossed or an embossing folder. Thank you for clarifying. A gorgeous card!
