Double D Sentiments/Quotes

We often make a card and just not sure if it IS
one you like when finished.
I know it happens to us all at times and this is one of those!
I wasn't going to enter the Sentiments/Quotes Challenge
over at Double D Challenges but I thought
What the Heck! What I may not like others will (hopefully)

I recently received some fabulous Christmas Sentiment stamps
for the Typografia Christmas Release Hop at
STAMPlorations thanks to Shery
so it was fitting I used one
for the Double D Challenge above.

I kept my card fairly cas for postage purposes.
I started with coloured card stock
as my base then added a white frame
then inking up white and a coloured piece of paper with
Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers/Cracked Pistachio
and a sprinkling of pearl x powders for the backgrounds.
I stenciled the ARTplorations Christmas Tree
with Metallic Gilding Polish.
The sentiment is STAMPlorations Merry Little Christmas
heat embossed in white above the tree.
This was cut with Spellbinders Labels 8
and inked on the inside to highlight.
Added a smidgen of Inka gold and my card is done.
That's another Christmas card to add to my stash.
Thanks for dropping in - till next time

  4. You are correct, what you may not like, others will. And I love this card. Great showcasing of that greeting, very cute Christmas card in non-traditional colors. This is beautiful, and I really mean it!!!
