Hello and Welcome to my latest
Mixed Media Piece for Creative Artiste
Each month we have an Anything Goes
Mixed Media Challenge using multiple mediums.
I got a gift certificate for Christmas and only recently
used it buying the Thinlits Insects which I wanted to
try them out.
My first background attempt failed so didn't take photos
along the way after that.
Here is how I started - using Art Achemy Metallic Paints
second time around!
then adding the Thinlits Insects
to see where to apply the Modeling Paste
After that I went on my merry way
adding the inked lace, die cut and coloured insects.
I like leaving some small bits of the cut outs.
Just added to the effect.
Sentiment was cut and popped after heat embossing.
Rubbed the Art Alchemy Waxes and Sparks
in various places especially around the edges.
Products I used are -
Modeling Paste, Stencil and Sentiment from STAMPlorations
Flair (Slimline stencil) Art Is (Sentiment cut up)
Lace background soaked in Magical's
Magical Powders and Lindy's Sprays
Art Alchemy Gold Rush and Emerald Green Metallic Paint
Art Alchemy Waxes Peacock and Vintage Gold
Art Alchemy Sparks in Mermaid Sparkle Acrylic Paint
White Embossing Powder
Thinlits Insects
A few close ups!
That's my project done and dusted for the month.
Hope you liked and leave a comment.
