It's the Simple Things!

It's Friday and July which means
our New Anything Goes Mixed Media Challenge
Here is what I have been playing with -
something fairly simple as June flew by too quickly.

It all started with a piece of cardboard
exposing the corrugations and adding texture paste
in metallic white with opaque crackle paste to the bottom.

Adding my bits and bobs -
flowers I cut twice, not sure which I would use.
The cream material is a meshy material I got from my sister
so no idea what it is but managed to cut it with a
piece of paper behind it for stability.
A bit of  torn inked paper that was from a fish and chip shop
that I quickly separated knowing I would use it crafting.
Washi tape, part napkin and some cheesecloth.

Finished with a few tiny flowers on the side with liquid pearls
to the centre. Also a pearl to the big flower and
simple AA&Create sentiment from a MFT die.

We have two talented Guest this month -
Welcome Henriet and Majda's.
Check out their Mixed Media Makes
and be inspired also by my
Talented Team Mates creativity and
head off to your play place and add yours to the Gallery.

Please be aware that for Mixed Media
we are looking for multiple mediums eg:
inks, paint, pastes, layers, fibres, canvas,
cardboard, die cuts just to name a few.
The sky is the limit to your imagination just have fun.

  5. Haha Ina great minds think alike - we both used cardboard packaging. I love how you've created a delicate piece with yours whereas I'm all about the grunge lol!
