It's Wild Card Week at Just Us Girls
and this only comes around when we have
5 Saturday's in the Month.
This is always a 'Fun Challenge' and Nancy chose
a 'Ripper' for us.

This is always a 'Fun Challenge' and Nancy chose

I hadn't thought too much about what sort of card I would make
for Nancy's challenge until I saw something I had cut out
and was lying on my desk - even had the ribbon beside it
so what better time to finish off
what I had started some weeks before.
I had seen this type of card so many times that I worked out
a template to use and went from there.
I used Linen & plain card stock.
Designer paper is by Kaisercraft and double sided (of course)
I got out some old flower dies using
Tim Holtz Tattered Florals.
How many of us have this
and have had it in the back blocks for a long time?
The small flower in the centre is Bitty Blossoms
and have another piece in between from a SB die.
Scrunched them all up for dimension.
Added a pearl to the centre.
My leaves are also from Spellbinders
Ribbon is SU
Sentiment is Inspired by Stamping.
I love the soft colours of the DP as it makes
a lovely feminine card.
Pop on over and see what other Girly Creations
have been made by our Guest Carol and
my Team mates. Hope you can come and play
with us this week and you could be chosen
as Chic of the Week and go on to be our
Guest for September.
Since this is basically a Birthday card
and the current Theme Challenge over at
Watercooler Challenges is to use
The Letter B Details Here.
I am joining in the fun
as my sentiment says Beautiful Birthday.
Thanks for dropping by

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL card!!!! LOVE the design!!!! Your flow is beautiful, and I love the "drapery" fold!
Lovely flower that goes well with the great folded pleats too
That flower, that fold, and that ribbon makes for a beautiful card Ina! Have a wonderful day!
I've been seeing this fancy folded card design more and more in blogland, and I gotta say that your card looks absolutely stunning! Wow!
Love your pretty pleated card and the fun flower!
Absolutely love the ruffled curtain on this card. So feminine and diffinatey girly!
A beautiful feminine card design and I love the skirt fold you did on it.
Ina, I love this technique and you have made a beautiful example. Great paper for the design and I love that flower.
WOW! Your drapery-fold papers, dimensional flower and polka-dot ribbon make for a gorgeous 'girl' card! Feminine fabulous! Thank you soooooo much for the opportunity to play along this month; a highlight of my crafting career in every way! You'll for sure see me playing along in the gallery!
Hugs~carol
I have been wanting to try this technique for a while and now you have inspired me to do it. I love your colors and design, and that pretty flower is perfect. Just beautiful!!!
Ina, I love your card. Beautiful Birthday, indeed! And a beautiful blossom as well. The bit of the tattered floral which is peeking out among the layers of petals really adds to the textures. And the pleating---just the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
Beautiful card, Ina! I love that Tattered Floral Die and I have sadly neglected it for too long. Thanks for the reminder and thank you for joining us this week at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges.
Ina thanks so much for joining in the "B" Challenge at the Watercooler Wednesday this week. Your "birthday" card is simply beautiful, so feminine and over the top "girly". Love everything about it from the folds to the flower. Thanks for inspiring.
A "Beautiful Birthday" card for sure. Love the colours and that flower. For some reason, this makes me think of chintz - not sure I've ever seen chintz in real life, however, only read about it and seen pictures. Thank you for taking part in the challenge this week at Watercooler Wednesday.
Such a bloomin' beautiful blossom of a birthday card, Ina! :) I love that large flower, and the drapery fold. So glad you joined our Watercooler Wednesday challenge. ~Deborah
And a beautiful birthday card it is Miss Ina. So many beautiful elements. Wonderful that you could join us this week at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. It would "b" cool if you came "b"ack again! {grin}
This is gorgeous! I love the beautiful flower and the drapery fold. So very feminine.
I love that jabot on your card, Ina, at least that's what I've always called the curtains that have that fold. The flower is so lovely that I don't know why they called it 'tattered'. ;)
Unique and pretty! You've done it again. :)
