It's Colour Week over at Just Us Girls
and our Host Bobby chose such easy ones to create with.
I have seen a card similar to this on Pinterest
and wanted to re-create it .
I love using corrugated cardboard, tearing away
all the paper this time and inking the corrugations.
My orange flower is Black Eyed Susan from
Elizabeth Craft Designs using
Tim's Distress Inks, cut several times and layered.
Green and brown leaves from different dies.
Finished with twine bow and
sentiment from Tim's Quotations.
Added this to white card base.
Head over and see how our Guest Julie
and my Talented Team Mates
chose to showcase these colours
and come share yours in our Gallery.
Thanks for visiting

Super, elegant take on the colours Ina, they really pop against one another. :)
I love the cardboard and how you used it! It feels like the pretty flower is on a tree, how they sometimes grow. Really nice card!!!
Ina... love the corrugated background!!!! so absolutely perfect. I am going to have to give it a try as well.
Oh, Ina. This cardboard is such a fun idea, I was totally smitten as soon as I opened your blog. Everything goes so well together. Awesome, awesome card!
Great use of texture by using that cardboard this card turned out great in the colors
The corrugated cardboard you used reminds me of an old tree trunk! This is so pretty, Ina!
You impressed everyone with that corrugated piece on your card, Ina. It looks great with that wonderful orange flower but I can see it on a masculine card too. I'm saving that idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
Ina, the cardboard is the perfect backdrop for your star-of-the show flower. Absolutely stunning, this card!
