My Creative Artiste Mixed Media Make...

Today's post is for our New Challenge at
where we use multiple mediums on our
Mixed Media creations.
Here's mine!

An outside and inside shot!
I have used a heap of products on this
and to name some -
Kaisercraft bird cage die
Tim Holtz stamps/inks/sprays/crackle paste
Liquitex Texture Paste
Stencils -Zyneri and AALL&Create
Versafine Inks
and other bits from my stash
you will see from the photos.
and it all started here -
a 5/7 canvas panel corrugated cardboard
with gesso and inks

and the start of the stamping with Tim's Ledger Script

adding more stampng from
Tim's Fading Type and stencil work from
AALL&Create

onto the next layer with more script
and inked edges
Birdcage is coloured with Lindy's Vintage Caravan Caramel
and attached to a different background as I messed up the first one..

As you can see there is a lot going on here -
flowers scattered all over my desk, some old ones
from my stash and a few from the punch.
Added a die cut, tags stamped from
AALL&Create, twine and a key.
A little bird and a heap of pearls.
Finished with Wink of Stella on the flowers
and Tumbled Glass Distress Glass in the centres.

A few close ups -

and as they say "That's a wrap"
If you haven't been and checked out
what our Talented Team have created
better head over to be inspired and
then it's your turn to 'wow' us.
Thanks for hanging in there for my long post.

PS - this piece headed over the other side of Australia
for my long time friend who is celebrating her 80th Birthday.

A Birthday Butterfly!

It's Die Week at Just Us Girls
and our lovely host is Carol M choosing
BUTTERFLY
How easy is that for us?
Just got to choose 'which'
and - a new Month sees a New Guest Designer
Welcome Kellianne. Lovely to have you on board.

My background was made some time ago just
never got finished so now it has.
Smooched colour on w/c paper and
stencil from AALL&Create is highlighted
with Apricot Metallic Gilding Polish.
Die cut my butterfly with metallic c/s
and added the polish to the wings and centre.
Oh yes there were 'splatters''
Added inked cheesecloth for interest
and finished with a die cut birthday sentiment.
Adhered to very pale peachy metallic base.
Head over and check out what our June Guest Kellianne
and the Talented Team created with beautiful
die cut butterflies and hope to see yours in our Gallery.
