It's the end of the month and that means
Sketch Time at The House that Stamps Built.
I find it hard sometimes to get my head around
a sketch and this was one of them.
However this is what I came up with.
I started with kraft card stock as my base
and then went searching for paper
through my stash and found a piece
of double sided dp and went from there.
I matted that first with some cream card stock
to blend in.
For the top part I cut the cream and dp
from Heartfelt Creations Layered Elegant Swirl and popped.
The sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping.
The gorgeous little butterfly is
Repeat Impressions - 108
cut from Spellbinders Circles
and attached to a Sue Wilson Vintage Lace Motif die.
Touched up the butterfly with Wink of Stella
but is too fine to see.
Finished off with a few pearls.
Hope you like what I made and
Thank you for dropping in.

I like your take on the sketch! Wonderful card.
So pretty, you have captured that sketch perfectly. LOVE how you have used that doily die cut, it's really the best for the sketch. I really like this card!!!
Well, I never would have guessed that you had a hard time with this sketch!! Your card is beautiful; I love the intricate element at the top and that decorative piece behind your butterfly panel! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
Oh, SS....you came up with a beauty!!!! It might have given you an "issue" in the beginning...but not for long!!! I love the colors (from the scrap bin) and how you took it from there. Awesome!
