It's Stencil Overload 2

Welcome back! Here is my second overloaded stencil card
for this month's CAS Stencil Challenge

I multi layered
ARTplorations Square Lots   Broken Glass   Bubble-Dance
again with Tim's Oxide Inks then
Gel Medium to Just Flow and sprinkled with glitter.
Cut with a Spellbinder Die and framed.
Sentiment is an Impression Obsession Die cut.

Thanks for popping back in again.

It's Stencil Overload

I had a fun afternoon playing with my stencils for the
current CAS Stencil Challenge where we are
required to layer them.
Hello and Welcome!
I made two cards using some of the same stencils
with totally different layouts. The first one is below.

I inked several of Tim's Oxide Inks through
ARTploration Sencils Weaving  Just Flow
Square Lots and Texture Paste for dimension with Barley.
Cut on an angle and distressed the edges.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations Bloom Happy.
Attached to white card base.
It was such fun playing with all my stencils,
some got inked for the first time too.
Why not give it a go. There are several videos
to check out if you need a helping hand.

Thanks for dropping in today.
My second overloaded stencil card
will be posted a bit later.

It's in the 'Pink'

Today's post is for the current challenge at
CAS Stencil being hosted by Nancy

I have quite a few 'new' ones that need some inking
and finally chose ARTplorations Molecules
inking with Memento Angel Pink and
die cut. I then inked up my
Rubbernecker Floral with Tim's Picked Raspberry
 adding Versamark and sprinkled with
Wow Shocking Pink Embossing Glitter for sparkle.
A touch of Iridescent Medium was added to the background.
I attached this to bright pink card stock.
I saw a card that Carol Mayne had made by
embossing a stencil. I had never seen this before
so gave it a try and the same stencil is attached
to my card base. Thanks Carol for this great idea.
Finished with a simple STAMPlorations Hello.

Here's a close up to show you the embossed stenciling.

Thanks for dropping in.

You're Special

Hello there! Welcome to my Blog.
How often do you make a card for a specific challenge,
leave it overnight then finish it off the next day
and then find out it is suitable for another?
Doesn't happen to me very often but this card did just that.
It's for the Cool Colours Challenge
and the CAS Stencil Challenge using a

This card was started specifically for the WC Challenge
but after looking at how plain the front was I thought it
needed a little something - hence the random stenciling
(I know it's only an itsy bitsy bit)
with white texture paste. It's
Tim Holtz - THS102 Layering Stencil
and purchased just before Christmas after I saw
a girlfriend use it - and had to have.
This was when I decided to add it to the Stencil Challenge above.
Thistle image is from Lavinia Stamps, heat embossed in black
and coloured with Lindy's Magical's in
Witch's Potion Purple and Cathedral Pines Green.
I cut out the front with MFT Peek a Boo square die
and went my merry way and popped it to my Thistle
forgetting that I hadn't added
my STAMPlorations sentiment - bummer.
That meant I needed to die cut it
just in case my stamping didn't turn out.
Adhered it to white card base.
I will keep this card and give it to my sister
for her birthday in a few months time.
I'll be back before the end of the month to
play again and with more stenciling lol.

Happy 1st Birthday to CAS Stencil Challenge
Where did that 12 months go?
Congratulations Loll and everyone involved
over the past year. You have done an amazing job
and  I am sure we will see you around for
so many more encouraging us to
put our stencils to good use.
Thanks Bunches!

Till next time - Cherrio from

Here for You

Hi there and Welcome.
Popping in to add this card to the
November Challenge over at the

I thought I would try something a little different with my
Monoprint card and used -
Lindy's Moonshadow Mist in Tawny Turquoise.
These are quite different to other Lindy's Sprays as they
have a sepia toned base with a fabulous shimmer
as you can see here and above.
Lindys Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist 2oz Bottle - Tawny Turquoise
I sprayed this onto the
Kaisercraft  Bamboo Stencil
flipped it over and pressed it down onto
my Acrylic Painting Paper I got from our local Aldi Store
It has a nice texture to it.
Lifted it off and was surprised how good a coverage I got.
I cut it to a size I wanted and framed with white.
I embossed the Kaisercraft Metal Plate folder on to white
card stock and popped the bamboo piece in front.
Added my STAMPlorations sentiment with
Tim's Gathered Twigs and inked the edges.
So glad I got this finished as the challenge ends in a few days
and have had the bamboo piece made for some time.
I did make another card with this technique and folder
in a different coloured spray but
is much larger and not quite enough white space
 for this challenge.

That's it for today. Too hot outside so giving me
some play time and even got started on Christmas cards
Yes I know I am so late this year - just hadn't felt like
getting my 'stuff' out before hand.
Bye for now

Your 'Special'

It's the start of a new week and I have been busy
making another card for the October Challenge at
using Patterned Paper with our stencil.

I did have another one made but decided to
make the card above as well.
Lots of white space here and highlighting
my stencil on a pretty peachy coloured
patterned paper.
I used Cadence Champagne Paste
on my stencil and framed it with a
Spellbinder die and popped.
Adhered the same paper for added colour
and onto white card base.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations
and die cut ARTplorations

Just for You

Hello and Welcome. Nice that you dropped in.
Life has been rather hectic the last few months
but I have had a bit of spare time this month to
play in a few challenges.

My card is for the current challenge at

It is CAS with open space but
just not with white space
which might just count me out.
However I did ink up my DP with a
Little Birdie stencil with Tim's Vintage Photo
then added some dies in brown with a touch of WOS.
Added some twine and sentiment from Altenew.
Backed it with cream card stock to blend with the DP
and adhered to green card base.

That's it for this one.
I did make another one before this
and will post that later on.
