A Birthday Butterfly!

It's Die Week at Just Us Girls
and our lovely host is Carol M choosing
BUTTERFLY
How easy is that for us?
Just got to choose 'which'
and - a new Month sees a New Guest Designer
Welcome Kellianne. Lovely to have you on board.

My background was made some time ago just
never got finished so now it has.
Smooched colour on w/c paper and
stencil from AALL&Create is highlighted
with Apricot Metallic Gilding Polish.
Die cut my butterfly with metallic c/s
and added the polish to the wings and centre.
Oh yes there were 'splatters''
Added inked cheesecloth for interest
and finished with a die cut birthday sentiment.
Adhered to very pale peachy metallic base.
Head over and check out what our June Guest Kellianne
and the Talented Team created with beautiful
die cut butterflies and hope to see yours in our Gallery.

You make me Smile!

It's our Die Week at Just Us Girls and our Host is Vicki
sharing some very special news for you all -
to announce we have a New Designer
joining us this week.
A Big Welcome to Denise Morgans
You will have seen her creative talents recently as
a past Guest Designer.
On that note we Welcome this month's Guest
to  show you all her creativeness.

On to my CAS card this week

I stencilled my card using the cute stencil
bought years ago with grit paste
with Distress Glaze in Kitsch Flamingo
to add some sparkle.
The fun Smile Die (you are smiling aren't you)
is a cheapie I loved when I saw it.
This was cut from w/c paper inked with
Distress Kitsch Flamingo/Glaze
as is the frame. Off course I had to
add some splatters to  finish and
adhered to white card base.
Head over and check out the vast array of
Talented from our Guest Kerry and
New Team member Denise with the
rest of us and add your to our Gallery.

Sue is Hosting and asking to use our dies for
  Spring/Easter
We also welcome our Apri Guest - Rosemary.

Spring has sprung and gone here but
that didn't stop me from pulling out a
pretty flower head that would have popped up
in our Spring.
Simply die cut and coloured with LIndy's Magical's,
Distress Stain and Glaze
as is the background.
Added some circle dies as a backing.
Finished with a simple sentiment from Penny Black.
Adhered to white base.
Check out the first card from our Guest Rosemary
and how the Team chose to be creative with their dies
for this weeks theme.

and we start off with our Die Week and
a New Guest Designer -
Welcome Milla.
You can go a few ways here going all green for
the Irish St Patricks Day (traditional) or
the Luck of the Irish or any way you please
as I did as long as you use a die.

I started with DO smooched background
in twisted citron, peeled paint and
rustic wilderness.
Inked up leaves (as above) from Kaisercraft and
STAMPlorations Beautiful You.
Die cuts are Sizzix Thinlits from Lisa Jones.
Die cut sentiment is from 49&Market.
Added LOTS of splatters to the die cut background
and adhered to white card base.

Love HEARTS!

We are all Heart this week at Just Us Girls
As it is the Month of Love our Host Sue chose
it as part of our Die Week.
A New Month bring in our February Guest
Denise Morgans from The Crafty Den - Welcome!

I went with traditional red for my
Heart Die Cut card.
Die cut a bunch of white circles and a single red
from MFT, a spray of red hearts and a single
one which I added a shadowed love sentiment.
Behind that is grey for extra colour and white cheesecloth
Added a leftover tiny heart to one of the main stems
with Nuvo shimmer.
Attached to white card base to complete.
Check out how Denise and The Team chose
to display their Die Cut Heart Cards and
join in with yours.

Just Us Girls and we begin with
Die Week hosted by Elizabeth and looking to use
A Coverplate (die, letterpress, hot foil)
We welcome our First Guest for 2026
Talented Laurel Seabrook

I went soft and subtle with my background coverplate
as I wanted to showcase the pretty soft flower.
It was coloured with a few Magical's and
 Nuvo Shimmer Powders.
I die cut several old Spellbinder dies
arranged and popped behind my flower.
A simple Happy Birthday sentiment
and liquid pearls to finish.
Head over and check out how
our Guest Laurel and Team chose to
show off their first JUGS cards of the year.

It's really 'Simple'

Hello and Welcome to a
New Month of Challenges at  Just Us Girls
and we Welcome our October Guest Great Hess
Our Host for our Die Week is Bobby and
chose LEAVES!

This card couldn't be any simpler.
Going away from the bright colours of 'Fall'
I 'simply' added a strip of washi tape
that is full of all sorts of leaves,
adding some 'simple' die cut leaves.
The hardest part picking which ones.
I do have a few spares now lol.
Of course I had to add splatters
finishing with a sentiment from Tim's Small Talk.
Attached to a very dark green card base.
Head over and check out the colourful
DIE CUT LEAVES
created by our Guest Greta and the Team.
I am sure you will want to add yours to our Gallery.

THANKS!

It's  our first Challenge for the Month at  Just Us Girls
and it's DIE Week - Hosted by Vicki
As we do each month we start with a New Guest
Welcome to Jaydee.
Vicki has gone with Anything Goes
so the gallery will be full of an amazing array of
  DIE CUT CREATIONS.

I can't take credit for this card as I saw this card
on Pinterest and loved the simplicity of it
and case-d it.
It was simple to create apart from the
tiny tiny bits of the THANKS die
which was fiddly filling in the white and gold ones.
I do love to play with Tim's Wildflowers and just added
a centre bit to the main flower.
The stencil background is Woodgrain from Couture Creations
using some metallic paper.
Head over and see the marvellous makes from
Jaydee and the Gang and be sure to
add yours to the Gallery.

Big Hugs!

Welcome to a New Month of Challenges at
First up is Elizabeth as Host with our Die Challenge
and asking for FLORALS.
Easy eh! as we all have a multitude of flower dies.
I'm excited to give a Big Welcome to
Julie Beech as our August Guest.
You are in for a treat.

How good is it when you find leftovers
in your bits box and a card comes together nicely!
Both colours came from it and the plain background
matched nicely from my stash.
Die cut the frames, popping the middle piece.
The centre die is an old one of Tim's.
Flowers were die cut and layered.
Sentiment is a simple one.
Added a teeny bit of crochet cotton to the stems
finishing with attaching to white card base.
Go on over and check out our Gallery to see what florals
our Talented Guest Julie and Team created.
I'm sure I will see lots of lovelies there this week.
Thanks for visiting

Hello Summer!

Hello and Welcome to today's post for
Carol Mc is our Host for Die Week
choosing the Word Summer
As with each month we have a New Guest Designer
Welcome to Donna Mikasa

Summer blew north a little while ago
and it isn't beach weather here in the Tropics.
When the temp goes below 20c - it's cold.
(funny though I am heading to the beach today with a
bunch of Ladies for our monthly Lunch)
ok enough waffle!

I had fun creating my  'summer' card,
with so many itty bitty dies scattered over my craft space.
I pulled out a colourful shaving cream piece from my bits box
and used it to it's end, adding other bright colours
to blend in. Stamped the seagulls and inked the background.
Die cut the big sun then the sand to place the items
you take to the beach -
bag, big ball, mobile phone and sunnies,
taking out the flip flops (thongs) and hat.
Finished with the perfect STAMPlorations sentiment
and on to card base.
PS the min temp will get above 20c in a couple of days
but will be fresh and windy by the beach today.
Now head over and see the first fabulous summer card
from our Guest Donna and more fabulous fun creations
from my Talented Team Mates.
The gallery is going to be full off summer in
so many different ways.
Be sure to check out Carol's description.
Looking forward to seeing how everyone went with
the 'Summer' Die cuts.

UPDATE! Sending this over to The Inspired Challenge
thanks to my team mates above.

Just Us Girls Die Week

It's Die Week at Just Us Girls
to start off our Weekly Challenges
and as Host I chose to
incorporate ''Layers'' on our die cards.
A New Month also brings our
New Guest Designer and a warm welcome to
Joanne James from The Crafty Owl

Here's my Layered Die Cut Card.

I saw this layered card Here and loved it so decided to case it.
I knew I had some lovely DP from way back by
Inspired by Stamping - Spring Lilacs that would be perfect.
Die cut my Spellbinder circles then some script stamping
from Stampendous Script Lines. Placed the pretty paper
behind them and one in front (includng a frame) and popped.
The flower inked with TH Dusty Concord,
 cut several times and leaves
are from Sizzix Floral Frame Thinlits.
Added some inked cheesecloth and
tiny art stones. Finished with adding a
strip of the DP to the bottom on an angle.
Head over and check out how our Talented Guest Joanne
and Team Mates chose to inspire you like they do weekly
and join us with your Layered Die Cut Card.
See you in our Gallery.

It's all about a 'Flower'

It's time for our New Challenge at Just Us Girls
and Hosting our Die Week is Bobby
and we all know how much she loves FLOWERS
so we need to get those flower dies out and create!

Another CAS card from me using an unbranded flower die
cut three times. The centre was inked with
ArtAlchemy Metallic Gold Rush Paint.
then the seed head with gesso for depth and inked the same.
Background is stamped from STAMPlorations Celebrate Artsy
adding some thin washi tape and black thread.
Flicked some black spots for interest.
Sentiment is also from STAMPlorations -Bloom Happy.
As it's a New Month we Welcome our May Guest Rosemary Dennis
Head over and check out what Rosemary
and the Team created for your pleasure
and hope to see you there.

Sending this over to Simply CAS

Just a 'tree'

Hello and Welcome to today's post for
Host for our Die Week is Sue
challenging us to use any dies
BUT NO FLOWERS!
This is going to be one interesting gallery
with so many other fun choices.

I die cut some wonky strips from
a sheet from a gel plate pull.
Behind them  (a little hard to see)
is a cover plate from CUTplorations.
Sentiment - STAMPlorations.
My tree is from Ultimate Crafts.
We have a New Guest Designer for April
and we Welcome Wanda Cullen
Head over and see how Wanda and the Team
played with their other than flower dies
and come join in the fun with yours.

Happy Birthday!

It's  Just Us Girls Die Week Challenge and
Our Host Carol M is asking for us to
use our dies and create a Birthday Card.

Here is my CAS make.

The Happy Birthday dies are Tim's
with the unbranded boat placed on an angle for the A.
I have seen a few cards like this on Pinterest
and that is where the idea came from.
The Birthday stamping is from STAMPlorations.
Adding some sequins, framed in navy blue
on to white card base.
We welcome our March Guest - Jeannie Jachna
Check out what she and the Team chose for their
Die Cut Birthday Card and
come join in with yours to our Gallery.
Thanks for visiting

We're back at Just Us Girls!

We are back and ready to inspire you for another year at
Just Us Girls with Vicki Hosting.

We start off the New Year with a NEW CHALLENGE THEME!
We replaced our Colour Challenge Week to
Use a Die Week. More details on our Blog Here
We also start with a New Designer and Welcome to
Annette Elias who will be sharing her talents with us for January.

A CAS card die cutting some dainty flowers
inking with Lindy's Magical's -
Bougainvillea Fuchsia and Cathedral Pines Green.
While I had the fuchsia still open I noticed some colour
on the lid so stamped a few circles to the background.
The sentiment is from Kaisercraft and die cut
several times for dimension
in the same fuchsia colour as the flower heads.
Of course I had to add some splatters for a
little more colour.
Attached to white card base to complete.
Head over and check out what Annette and my
talented team mates created for your pleasure,
leave them a kind comment and
we would love to see your die cut card in our Gallery.
Thanks for visiting
