Stencil Week at Just Us Girls...

Hello and Welcome to Stencil Week at
Our Host is Sue going with Anything Goes.

There isn't too much evidence of stencil work here
but sometimes it is nice just to have a simple background
instead of  it being the feature as I have done here.
Once again I used a favourite AALL&Create stencil
for the background of my tag with a couple of Tim's distress inks
with a touch of gold shimmer and a few splatters
on the cover plate.
Die cut another few old favourites as feature
adding a rounded ball of variegated cotton
also to the tag.
Finished with a simple sentiment.
Inked the edges and tag.
As this is Bonnie's last week with us as Guest
A huge thank you once more for sharing
your amazing talent with us. It has been
such a pleasure.
Head off and see Bonnie's last card for us
and it is spectacular!
The Team have also created such beautiful stencil art
so you won't want to miss checking them all out.
Mine is a bit plain compared to them.
Then it is your turn to inspire us with yours inour Gallery.

Just Hello!

The Lovely Lisa is our Host this week at Just Us Girls
and it is our popular Anything Goes Stencil Challenge

I went with a CAS design here
stencilling lightly with white texture paste
onto kraft card stock cut on an angle for interest.
The flower is die cut several times and
 layered for depth in white
to match the background.
Added a textured die from Kaisercraft
behind the flower.
STAMPloration sentiment is torn
and popped.
Head over and see what our Guest Kellianne
and the Talented Team chose to
showcase their stencils.
As this is the last challenge of the month
I want to thank Kellianne for sharing her talents
with us this month as our Guest.

It's a Twofer Stencil-ing

It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls
and Hosting for the first time is our
Newest Designer Denise.

As you can see I have made two CAS cards
using the same AALL&Create Lotus Clusters stamp
including the sentiment inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne
with the one on the left heat embossed clear.
Stencils are from STAMPlorations Foiled Again
BeeArty White Wash
and AALL&Create Moc-Croc
in Saltwater Taffy Ox ink and stain
with different backings.
Easy as to make two while I had the stamp set out
as I wasn't sure which stencils to use.

All the Design Team with our Guest Kerry
have created an abundance of creativity
using their stencils and now it's
your turn to share with us in the Gallery.
You could be our Winner of the Week
and go on to be a future Guest.

Stencil Week at Just Us Girls...

It's our popular Stencil Week at
and Vicki is Hosting with Anything Goes.

Here is what I created!

The background is from some soft toned DP and
embossed with Distress Crackle Paste.
I found this piece lying on a table -
must have started it and got sidetracked!
An easy finish by adding some die cut flowers
from Simply Dies - Tall Flower.
The main flower cut from another
Designer Paper Pad and cut so as the vase was
a different colour. The background flowers
were inked with DO to blend.
Added some mesh to ground the vase
finishing with a small talk sentiment.
Head over and check out Rosemary's last card
as our Guest and a Big Thank You for sharing
her talents with us this month.
Also the Design Team were busy creating
for your pleasure and now we invite you to
join in with yours to our Gallery.

Stencil Week at Just Us Girls

The Lovely Lisa is Host this week at
Just Us Girls and it is our popular
Anything Goes Stencil Week.

Those that know me are aware that I
LOVE adding a thick coat of texture paste
to a lot of my stencil cards.
I have done so here but unfortunately
it doesn't show up enough here
but you will get the idea when you see
colour seep through a
favourite of mine -
My background is from my bits box
using Lindy's Magical's and
Tim's Distress Inks.
Not forgetting my 'splatters'
I reently was gifted some lovely Poppy Stamps dies
from a crafty friend - thank you lots L
The sentiment is their Moonlight Script Hugs
which worked perfectly with the solid backing
to sit over the raised stencil.
Finished by corner rounding two sides
and adhered to brown card base.
Check out the stencil work from our Guest MillaChallenge
and my Talented Team Mates
and head into your craft space and
add yours to our Gallery.

As luck would have it I checked out the
Poppy Stamps Blog and my card works perfectly
for their current challenge -
So there you have it -
Happy to add super new dies to my collection
and enter one in the above challenge.

Thinking of You...

It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls
and I am Host.

While on holiday recently I bought some
Cosmic Shimmer Razzmatazz Lustre Polish
and was eager to try it out with
my ARTplorations Onion in Raw stencil.
Inked and heat embossed one of Tim's Abstract Florals
and fussy cut and adhered another head
and two leaves from some DP.
The sentiment is from that set and tore the edges
adding another piece to the back.
Included some black thread for interest.
Attached to black card base.
Our Guest Denise and The Team have created their
stencil cards for your inspiration so head off and create yours
and add to our Gallery.

'JOY '

It's our Last Challenge of the Year at  Just Us Girls
as we take a break (and be back in the New Year)
after we refuel and spend time with Family and Friends
Sue is Host for our Stencil Challenge

I just had to get out my favourite Deer Stencil
from ARTplorations filling him and background up with
a good helping of texture paste mixed quickly with
Lindy's Jolly Roger Red before it dried up from the heat.
I did ink around him before that then added
 darker tones and more Lindy's.
Added tiny splatters for interest.
The 'joy' die is Tim's and die cut several times for depth
and I didn't lose the tiny dots.
Added a pearl for his eye.
Corner rounded one end and
attached to white card base.
Check out what our Guest Leslie created
for her last showing and the Team have also been
busy with a variety of stencil pieces to inspire you.
Hope you have been able to spend a bit of time
with your stencils and share with us in our Gallery.

Thank you so much for all your comments
 and support over the year.
I look forward to creating for you again in the New Year.

A Merry Christmas to my Team Mates and to you all.

Life is Good!

I'm Host this week at Just Us Girls
for our Stencil Challenge.

I had made this card weeks ago but was unhappy with the
main element I had added so it sat around and in two minds
whether to just throw it out or find something else
which I did. Still not completely happy
I decided to go with it.
The stencilled background is
 again that sand texture paste
using distress ink for colour once it was dry.
Added some roughly broken up bark
and tiny art stones.
I removed what I had adhered earlier,
replaced with stamped die cuts popped
and some tied twine.
The big multi cut sentiment is inked with the same colour
as the stencil work from CUTplorations.
As this is Gerda's last week with us -
a Big Thank You for sharing your talent with us.
Check out Gerda's last card and
the creative stencil work from my Team Mates.
This is always a popular challenge so
I am looking forward to checking our Gallery out.
See you there.

Hugs...

It's our Ever So Popular Stencil Week at
Just Us Girls and the Lovely Lisa is our Host.

I went all out colourful with this
fun funky CAS stencil card.
It started with the Retro Circle stencil
from ARTplorations in
Tim's Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral
and Fossalized Amber.
Die cut Tim's Artzy Stems.
The middle stem is inked/glazed
with the Abandoned Coral.
Sentiment is from Paper Smooches
inked and clear embossed.
Love the fonts on that set.
This one matches the funky look.
Our Guest Jaydee and The Team have been
happily stencilling so go check them out.
Again I know the Gallery will be overflowing
with an array in every style of stencils.

A Simple HELLO!

It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls

I made this background some time ago.
While I had this AALL&Create stencil inked
with LIndy's Magical's
I reversed it and used the remaining ink to
create the background.
Added some die cuts in bold bright colours,
some torn washi tape and a simple
STAMPlorations sentiment to complete.
Head over and see the last fabulous wow cards from
our August Guest Julie
and Talented Team.
You will be impressed and hope you
then add yours to our Gallery.
I BIG THANK YOU Julie for
sharing your fabulous cards with us this month.

For Someone Special!

It's our ever popular Stencil Week at
Just Us Girls and our Host is Bobby

I recently bought some new texture paste
and anxious to try it out. After I created my background with
yes Gecko Green Magical's
I got out my ARTplorations Bloom Factory stencil
and covered it with a good coating of paste.
I love the raised effect.
I then heat embossed the matching BF flower from the
STAMPlorations stamp set with Zing Aqua,
curled it and added some matching flower soft.
Sentiment is from STAMPlorations Fluttery
on to a MF die. Corner rounded
and attached to white card base.
A big Thanks to our July Guest Donna
for sharing her amazing talents with us.

Sending this over to The Paper Fun Day Challenge

For You!

It's Stencil Week at Just Us Girls and
this weeks Host is Bobby.

I love just simple stencilling and that is what
I have done here inking up a couple in the background
coloured firstly with Lindy's screamin' banshee black
which comes out with the most 'magical' colours.
The purple one on the right is AALL&Create
and the grey on the left - Kaisercraft.
Inked my TH flower with Versafine Clair Nocturne.
Added splatters to add a bit of colour
then framing and a Cecile touch on the side.
Die cut sentiment is Impression Obsession.
Adhered to SU card base.
Pop over and check out the last beautiful card
our Guest Joaanne created for us
and the Team's amazing variety then
head off and play, adding yours to our Gallery.
A Big Thank You to Joanne for sharing her talents
with us this month.

Fossilized Amber Spiced Marmalade Crackling Campfire
Stencilling is from AALL&Create Geometric Grid

Shine Brightly!

It's Stencil Time over at  Just Us Girls
and Vicki is our Host.

I started my background with
some Lindy's Magical's as I often do, adding some very fine gold shimmer.
Applying my  Peeking Dahlia's Stencil from ARTplorations
loading it up with Distress Grit Paste which gave it that rough look
then added  Art Alchemy Rust Brown Matte Wax
with my finger adding extra to the centre of the flower.
Tore around the edges and corner rounded.
Sentiment is from Tim's Small Talk.
Popped onto white card base to complete.
It's a little different look with the grit paste -
one I was happy with the result. What are your thoughts?
Head over and check out the stencil work from
our Guest Jeanne and the Team.
Look forward to seeing yours in our Gallery.
