We're Going 'Wild' at Just Us Girls

Hello and Welcome to my Saturday Post for
Since there are 5 weeks in September we have our

Angie is Hosting this week.
Pop over and see what our Guest Julie
and my Team Mates striped out on.
I wanted to move away from the florals
so went a bit grungy here.
As I have had a busy month getting my DT cards
up and scheduled, spring cleaning and gardening
all in the ready for relatives and friends invasion
this is a QCAS card - quick clean and simple card.
Got out my STAMPlorations stamps -
Celebrate Artsy for the sentiment and
Art Marks, Mixed Media Elements and
Scribbly Splattery Grunge
Inked them up with Tim's
Carved Pumpkin/Mermaid Lagoon
and Black Soot on the sentiment.
Basic bright card stock used and
finished with striped washi tape.
That's it.

Just like to say Thanks to Julie for being our
Super Guest this month. We all loved your work.

Also when this goes live I will be in the thick of
Birthday Celebrations with some very Special People.
Back to normal next week!

Thanks for popping in

I'm Guest Designer at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog

Hello and Welcome to today's post.
Several weeks ago I was invited to be Guest Designer over at the
Thank You so much Jane for the Invitation.

Their New Challenge is this Sketch below.

Lots of potential here that you can go to town on
BUT you must use a stamp that is at least 12 months old.
After all it is nice to get those older stamps out
and ink them up isn't it?
I had so much fun working out which ones to use and
landed up with a couple of older Retired SU ones -
even using Retired Designer Paper and Inks.
Just don't know how old they are as I bought them
as Retired Items!

I started by inking my background from
SU Creative Elements several times.
I then got out the SU Delicate Details stamp
with it's lacey border inking and placing it underneath.
Both were inked with SU Tip Top Taupe.
My flower is from the same set as above
in Calypso Coral first then I inked
two more in Tangarine Tango and fussy cut them for dimension.

This was attached to a MFT stitched circle die
and backed with a Spellbinders Scallop die
from Groovy Guava DP.
Sentiment is from Altenew.
Finished by sponging the edges, adding cotton,
a bow and some tiny beads to the centre of the flower.

Thanks for dropping in.
Love to see how you interpret the Sketch
and add to the Gallery Here.
Of course you checked out what the
Design Team created first didn't you?
