Simply 'With Love'

Just a few more days now till Christmas.
My cards are done dusted and posted and
so nice to move on to other fun.

I was recently gifted a lovely die from
Bonnie & Loll (Thank You So Much)
and have been itching to cut.
So my card was born.
I am going to pop it over to
CAS Watercolour for their
My watercolour came about from
Tim's Oxide inks in Peeled Paint/Seedless Preserves
swiped on to my craft mat and then used acetate
to smooch my watercolour paper.
I then cut out the floral swirl and butterfly
(from Gina Marie) and coloured accordingly.
Attached this after tearing the corner
to the watercoloured background.
Inked Iridescent medium to the border
die cut and sentiment which is from Spellbinders.
Finished with a few SU Gems.
Thanks for dropping in to see what I have been up to.
I appreciate it and love reading your comments.

PS -  I do have another card made using that lovely die set
so keep your eyes out for it at a later date.

Till next time

Ho Ho Ho and all That

Christmas is nearly here and my post is a
Reminder for the Current CUTploration Challenge
All the Details are Here

It's that time of the year when CAS is the order of the day.
This is just that!
My card stock is a pearescent textured paper
for my base and feature.
I inked my sentiment with Tim's Inks in
Festive Berries/Fossilized Amber & Lucky Clover.
As the card stock is pearescent the colours are muted
which turned out nicely.
This was then cut from CUTplorations Holiday Words Plate Die
(Makes for a super cas card)
I cut out the backing with the
Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies
after embossing with an old Cuttlebug folder
from Winter Wonderland.
Finished with scattered gems.
I sure hope you have a little spare time
so you can come join us and check out
what the Team created for your inspiration.

Here are the STAMPloration Products used above.

Wishing you all a
Very Merry & Safe Christmas.

CAS Mix Up Reminder

It's the Middle of the Month and Reminder Time
for the current challenge at CAS Mix Up Challenge.
Here is my card as December's Guest Designer.

You can find the Details Here
My Mix is *Stamping
*Embossing *Smooching
*Stenciling *Die cutting
I had a lot of fun with this card.
Thought I would try something a little different
here and got out my neglected Gelatos.
Unfortunately they don't have the colours
on them but have used just three adding a touch of Inka Gold.
Showing the shimmer from the Gelatos
I simply scribbled them onto water colour paper and then
smooched with a water pen till I got the result I liked.
I then got out my Lavinia Stamp and heat embossed in black.
Touched up the middle with the green gelato and a tiny bit of
Inka Gold. Added some tiny circles from
Dutch Doobadoo Pop Art stencil with Tim's Black Soot
and added a few circles for contrast with a white uniball pen.
Sentiment is from
and heat embossed.
This was then cut from a stitched die from MFT and popped.

If you haven't had a chance to pop over and see what's
already posted - please do and hope you come join in
this month's fun challenge.
Thanks so much for dropping in.
A Big Thanks to Bonnie & Loll for their kind invitation
to be their Guest for December.

I then painted it with metallic paints.
Added a water wash background and a strip
of glitter paper to the side.
Finished with a Merry die inked with WOS
and Christmas sentiment both from Hero Arts
cut from a Spellbinder tag and some Nuvo drops
to the poinsettia centre.

I am on the last leg of my Christmas cards -
just needing to write on the inside
buy Christmas stamps and they are on their way.

It's Snowing Somewhere

Yes it's Snowing Somewhere and that somewhere is
Cardz 4 Galz for the last challenge of the year.
Lucky for me I have 2 snowmen in my stash
and I chose this one from Inspired by Stamping.
A pretty simple card in Teal & White.
I heat embossed my Snowman in white and cut
him out with a MFT stitched die popped and framed.
The background is embossed with glitter embossing powder
which is hard to see and I sprinkled my snow with
Stampendous White Embossing Enamel
heating it from the bottom
and framed that in white.
Added a touch of colour to the Snowman to give it a lift
and my card was done.
This will be my last posting as a
Designer for Cardz4Galz.
Thank You to All the Team
for a great 6 months.

Thanks for dropping by

Case-ing Loll Thompson

Do you find yourself liking a particular style of card on Pinterest?
And a lot of the time it is the same person!
Well this happened to me while browsing
for inspiration for the latest
Everyone's Favourite Challenge at
Addicted to Stamps and More
Anything Goes!

I find myself admiring the beautiful cards by
Loll Thompson from Stamping with Loll
and I recently was gifted the die I have used on my card
to case her Daisy Birthday Card

I have already made a card with this die
but wanted to use it in the more traditional
yellowish colours.
It's a simple card really. My background was made
with Yellow & Orange Brusho's. I wet my craft mat
and added the brusho powders then placing my card stock
on top. I did this a number of time also thumping
to get extra colour drying as I went along.
I did add some PearEx in Aztec Gold
and has made it shimmer beautifully - you can just see it here.
 Added a popped stitched frame.
My leaves are from Kaisercraft  in gold vellum.
The beautiful daisy was cut multiple times and layered.
Centre is filled with lemon flower soft.
This was then adhered to the background.
Sentiment is gold embossed and from
STAMPlorations Bloom Happy
Finished with yellow pearls.

Hope you will pop over and see what my Team Mates
have created and come join us. Love to see you there.

adding the crackle paste and while wet
some Elizabeth Craft Design Cool Diamonds glitter
then waited till it dried - Love the result!

The Silvery Tree got me motivated and
that is what I went with for my focal point.
I went with traditional Christmas colours
as is on the photo.
My Christmas Tree is from
which is cut from glitter paper. I have used it again
matting behind my Brusho's background.
Both were cut with
Adding my Merry and Bright sentiment from

I'm Guest Designer at CAS Mix Up

I seem to be on a roll lately Guest Designing for
2 Favourite Challenges of mine.
Last month was CAS Watercolour and this month
Thanks once more to Bonnie & Loll for inviting me.
It was nice to move away from Christmas cards this time
for my first card as Guest Designer.
Here is the Mix for this month.
A nice easy one!
My Mix on the above card is
*Stamping *Stencilling
*Die Cutting *Heat Embossing
*Smooching & Splash Watercolouring
I started my card by cutting a piece of
white card stock with a stitched die
then added a pearl white acrylic painted waive.
My Spellbinder hexagons were made from
Lemon & Orange Brusho's with a touch of
PearEx Aztec Gold. It didn't seem to set
properly so topped it with glossy
transparent gel medium.
is in the same Brusho colours
and heat embossed in black and fussy cut.
Added some pearls to finish then attached to
my white card base.

Pop over and see what the Talented Designers created
and hope you find time to play this month.
Thanks for dropping in today.

It's Mix It Up Challenge Time

It's December and time for the last challenge for the year at
Mix It Up Challenge Blog
It's always Anything Goes and the
Optional Twist this time is Fancy Fold

I somehow lost Mo & Jo again and it
took me an age to find them. I was beginning to give up
but gave the Twist a go without them.

This was my second attempt -

I think you call this a fancy flap card.
Products I used here are
SU card stock
Designer Paper
Spellbinder/MFT Circle Dies
CB Embossing Folder
Image/Sentiment - STAMPlorations.
Tim's Festive Berries Distress Ink
Liquid Pearls
Velcro to fasten.

This one was close to going in the bin. I couldn't get
it to sit right and then added another fold.

Ingredients -
Basic card stock
DP/Inside sentiment - Inspired by Stamping
Embossing Folder
Nuvo Mousse
Rose/Outside Sentiment - STAMPlorations
Water colour paints
White Embossing Powder
Diamond Dust.

I found the tutorials for these cards on Pinterest
but did not save them for reference. Sorry!
I'm sure you have all seen them in your travels.

Hope you will pop over to Our Blog to see
some really amazing fancy folds from the Team
and you get time to come play with us this month.

This will be my last posting as a Mix It Up Designer.
I have enjoyed my time creating with their variety of Challenges.
Thanks to Leslie and Team Mates. It's been a fun run.
