Thinking of You

Today's post is for Just Us Girls as it is Saturday

and it's our Photo Challenge.

 Nancy has chosen a gorgeous oh so feminine one 

as this week's Host.

As you can see I took my inspiration from the clock.

As soon as I saw the photo I knew that I wanted to

feature it. I added lots of layers of dp from Kaisercraft.

My stamped clock is also from Kaisercraft and backed

with brown card stock.

My die cut pretty pink flowers and leaves are from the

Retired SU Botanical Blooms.

Sentiment is also SU.

Added variegated cotton and distressed some edges

finishing with pearls in the centre of my flowers

adhered to brown card base.

Here is my final card.

The stencil I used here is another new one

ARTplorations Slimline Flair

I placed it on my water colour paper and

applied Clear Transparent Gesso with a sponge

which gave it a nice rough surface then

added colour with Brushos and Magical Powders

and sprayed to release the magical colours.

This was then cut in thirds and the edges inked.

Sentiment is cut several times from the

CUTplorations Celebrate Big Die

for dimension.

Day 4 STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Celebrations

Hello and Welcome.  

We are now into Day 4 of our Birthday Celebrations

I was excited to get Tim's New Oxide Crackling Campfire 

 and as I had it out using it on my previous card 

I knew it would look

spectacular using photo paper.

Colours I used are the Crackling Campfire

Seedless Preserves Ground Espresso and Fossilized Amber

on my background. Wiped with a paper towel

and sealed with Tim's Distress Glaze.

I then inked  Sanna's Amaranth Stencil

with VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves.

Added some grunge in the background from

STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge

My sentiment is the

 ARTplorations Make a Wish Die Cut

smooched in colours above and added a

brown die cut for a shadow.

Finished by attaching to brown card base.

STAMPlorations Birthday Celebrations Day 3

We are on to  

Day 3 Birthday Celebrations at STAMPlorations

Hope you have been over and checked everything out!

Day 3 card had me playing again with the

ARTplorations Mosaic Slimline Stencil

flipping it sideways.

I recently purchased Tim's new Crackling Campfire

Oxide Ink so had to try out, combining it with Seedless Preserves

and Peacock Feathers. When dry I put the stencil back

and randomly added some Texture Paste.

Got a bit creative with my sentiments from 

STAMPlorations Bold Sentiments Hashtag Authentic

and STAMPlorations Art Marks

Inked with VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze

and heat embossed clear.

Inked randomly and around the edges

and some small inking on the white card base.

STAMPlorations 7th Birthday Celebrations Day 2

 Here I am again for Day 2 of our

 Day 2 of our 7th Birthday Celebrations

For my Day 2 card I chose to use the new 

Bloomfully - Radiance Check the series out HERE.

Now those that know me are aware of my

lack of colouring skills so I took the easy way out

using my favourite medium - Lindy's Magicals

in Bougainvillea Fuchsia Alpine Rose and

Oom Pah Pink and simply smooched on to my 

watercolour card stock.

Heat embossed the beautiful flower 

and sentiment with Zing Metallic Silver.

Added some Cosmic Shimmer Crackle Paint 

to the centre of one of the flowers then a bit more crackle

from Tim's Distress Clear Rock Candy for shine

Backed it with silver paper and on to white card base.

Celebrating our 7th Birthday at STAMPlorations

Today is the day we begin our

  Belated 7 Year Birthday Celebrations

To finish off my card what better way to do it
