Did Someone Say Ice Cream?

It's Saturday and  Just Us Girls Challenge is Live!
Our Host for Trend Week is Elizabeth
and chose a 'beauty'

It has been an 'AGE' since I have made a Wobbler Card
and found a stamp/die that made for a fun card!
It's Sweet Cravings from STAMPlorations.
Heat embossed in white and coloured with
Tim's oxide inks and for the wobbler
I die cut it another and coloured the same.
Added sprinkles to the top layer.
What is an ice cream without them?
Background has a bit of stencilling
and a few splatters.
Sentiments are from the same stamp set.
Added to coloured card base.
Head over to Our Blog and
check out our Guest Lucie
and my talented Team Mates creations
and join in this fun challenge with yours.

'tis the Season

The New Challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters
is to Create a Seasonal Landscape
chosen by Sistah Debbie.

As you can see I went with a Winter Theme
using my favourite Great Outdoors Stamp Set
from Tim Holtz in front of a wintery oxide inked background,
Distress Grit Paste and iridescent medium for shimmer and snow.
Inked the edges and attached to bright card base.
Head over and see what seaon my Sistah's chose to create
and we would love to see yours in our Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in and commenting.

A 'Shaker' Merry Christmas

Hello and Welcome to today's post for
and our Theme for this month is TREES!

My Christmas Tree die is from CUTplorations
which is popped with lots of bling behind it
as a shaker card.
Added a couple of Christmas presents to the front
and a strip of dp to the side. A simple sentiment
and my shaker card is complete.
Pop over and see how the Team chose
to showcase their Trees and come and
join in the fun by adding yours to the Gallery.

Sending a 'Butterfly' With Love

What do you do on a cold Sunday?
Find a Fun Challenge -
Yep! went to  CYHTP Dry/Heat Embossing
with the optional twist Butterflies
so headed off to play.
I had a butterfly left over on my desk
so that made it easy.

I dry embossed the Henna folder from Darice
on white card base and then got out
a few Nuvo Shimmer Powders, sprinkled on
to the same folder and sprayed lightly with water,
placed my card stock inside and embossed, leaving it
for a short while for all the colours to seep in.
The butterfly has been inked with Nuvo Gold Powder
and popped. I inked the edges of the white embossing
with the leftovers.
Sentiment die is from Spellbinders.
Added a few pearls to finish.
Thanks for the visit and leaving lovely comments.
