Stencil Time at STAMPlorations

Time just seems to be flying by and already close to
half the year has disappeared.
As it is a new month it is the start of our challenges over at
Our Stencil Challenge is now live and you can see
what we created Here

I had a LOT of leftover Lindy's Magical's
on my glass mat so that was the start of  my project.
I then added colours with Tim's Oxide Inks in
Spiced Marmalade and Crackling Campfire.
Added my stenciling using
Dreamweaver Crackle Paste to
With more of the leftover ink  I
die cut the stamped feathers from
and popped them.
Stamped the sentiment from that set,
tore the edges and attached to my card.
Finished by adhering to navy card base.

Here are the products I used.

Don't forget to pop over and see
what my Team Mates created,
be inspired and add yours to The Gallery.

Thanks for dropping in.
I will be back later in the month for a Reminder!
I appreciate your kind comments.

Season's Greetings

Here we are at the end of April when saw the
latest challenge over at
that gave me the jolt I needed to get started on
making my Christmas Cards.
It's Anything Goes as long as it is Christmas.
The details are Here
I got caught out last year when I had my knee surgeries
and didn't want that to happen again.
I did say to myself that I would keep
part of the month dedicated to building my stash.
So here I go with my first Christmas card for the year.

I love the soft bluish tones for Christmas and my background
here is from my bits box using Lindy's Magical's then I did
some stenciling from TCW
with Tim's Salty Ocean Oxide Ink.
My deer head is a die from ARTplorations
(a favourite of mine)
smothered in Stampendous Copper Embossing Enamel,
Ranger Copper and Colour Blast Deep Water
Embossing Powders.
Adding more texture with Ranger Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint
and adding more Copper Enamel.
I think he looks rather 'rugged'.
Inked  a couple of circles and the STAMPlorations Sentiment
in Ground Espresso Oxide
heat embossing with the Ranger Copper
Die cut my frame adding my deer with metallic paper behind it
then attaching to metallic card base.

Popping this card over to

Thanks for dropping in today.
Really love reading your encouraging comments.

Just 'Floating' Sky High

Time for my first post for Just Us Girls
May Challenges where we start off with our Word.
We have a new Guest Designer too - Jacinda.
Welcome! Lovely to have you join us.

Sue is Hosting and chose 'FLOAT'
There are so many way to to go with this and
I chose to 'float' away in a hot air balloon.

This was an easy card, cheating here as my background is simply
grungy designer paper from Paper Rose.
I had several on my bench and knew
this would work nicely for what I had in mind.
My hot air balloons and sentiment were inked and
heat embossed clear.
The sentiment is from Visible Image Somewhere in Time
thanks to my generous friend Mac.
Added lots of clouds from Repeat Impressions,
matted on to white then adhered to white base.
Love it when a card comes together nicely and so quickly.

Pop over and see what our May Guest Jacinda
and the Team chose to inspire you with our Word.
I know we will see a variety of ways to 'Float'
Hope to see yours in our Gallery.
You could be our Chic of the Week
and in the running for a Guest Spot in July.
Thanks for dropping in.

How Does Your Garden Grow?

For our New Challenge over at The Sisterhood of Crafters
