Heading Back to the Vintage Era

Hello and Welcome to my Saturday posting for
Just Us Girls and it is my turn to Host our
Colour Week

As it has been such a long time since I made
something 'Vintage' these colours came to mind.
My DP is by Carta Bella distressed and inked.
Vintage Lady is a Marianne Die cut from black paper
and covered with Art Alchemy Vintage Gold Wax.
She has a black pearl necklace and one on her hat.
Popped onto SB die cut metallic cream card stock
and SB Floral Oval Die in gold.
Added some black and gold ribbon and
again black in the middle.
Finishing with a pretty waxed flower
and some Carta Bella leaves.
Card base is Metallic Gold.
Sentiment is a Tim Holtz sticker.

Check out how our Guest Betty
and the Team were inspired by the colours
and come join us in the weeks Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in

It's 'Anything Goes' at Addicted to Stamps and More

we have everyone's favourite
Anything Goes
This gave me a chance to share a card I made
a little while ago using the
 Monoprinting with a Stencil Technique.
This one wasn't quite CAS enough for that challenge
so held off to use at a later date.

What you do is ink up your stencil.
I used Lindy's Magical's (of course) through a
Kaisercraft Bamboo Stencil flipping it over
and letting the ink soak into the card stock.
The spray I used is Moon Shadow Mist in
Jolly Roger Red.These sprays have a sepia base
and will be dominated by that tone but then
you get the hint of the other colour which gives you
a glorious shimmer - red in this case.
I decided to go one step further and
put my stencil back on, slightly off to the side
and added some of Tim's Distress Grit Paste.
Scored down the left side of
the card base and added a popped sentiment.

Head on over and check out my Team Mates makes
and I am sure to see plenty of fun makes in our Gallery.
Will yours be there?

Thanks for popping in today

CASimply Just for You

Don't you love it when you make a card but
doesn't get blogged and you find a challenge
that will fit it perfectly!
I have just that for today's quick post to
add to the Gallery over at the

It's an Anything Goes Challenge and each month
there is an option. This month's is Stenciling
One of my favourite techniques
I found some lovely Designer Paper
that matched perfectly with SU Tip op Taupe cs
and simply stenciled my ARTplorations Roses stencil
with Art Alchemy Butterfly Spells Sparks
giving it a rough finish for added dimension.
Sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers.
With such a great twist this month
I am sure to be making more.
