Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge D1212

The House That Stamps Built

Over at one of my favourite craft sites The House that Stamps Built -  the Current Sketch Challenge is

Here is what I made .

I made it simple starting off with brown cs. The flower is from Repeat Impressions Iris Window
I used cream cs as a background after embossing it. I also used dp and inked edges with Tim Holtz Peacock distress ink. The iris was also inked with the same colour. This was backed by dp and embossed. I added a button and twine to the cream strip. The iris flower has startdust and purple stickles added for a glittery effect and the leaves I added dimentional magic for a little shine. Finished with 3 pearls.

Now that's pretty!! The focal image is just gorgeous and I really love the coordinating button and gems. Slanting them downward was a terrific idea as it led my eye right to the wonderful image :)
hugs to you my friend,
Lisa xx
