Creating with Dragonflies Challenge 2 UPDATE

After a LONG train trip I am home and back to catching up on DT duties.
As I said in the previous post I tried to upload my page for our
Crafting with Dragonflies Challenge 2

from my tablet while on holidays but was unable to do so.
so here is what I made...

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is

and I chose to use their rose tag digi image as part of my layout
and added to it a bit of bling and a centre rhinestone.
I started my layout with a base of white then topped it with blue and pink paper.
I tore a few of the edges to give it an "old feel"
The main design paper is from Grace Taylor's Family Time.
The butterflies are from Marianne Designs
and the bird and flower are Cherry Lynn Designs.

Both photos were taken when we still lived in Scotland.
I am the youngest of the 3 girls in the photos.

I cut out the letters - My Mother with my cuttlebug and
the alphabet I used is Hippie Chick.
I used a MS punch for the bottom edging of the backing mat.

Hope you like what I have made and inspired you to make a page
for the "Special Mother" in your life
and enter it in our latest challenge.

Till next time again thanks for popping in - Ina.

Ina, what a treasured photograph that is. It looks like you were all giggling because you weren't quite sure where to look for the photograph. I love all the smiles on your faces and aren't you just ADORABLE tucked between Mom and Dad. I think it's a beautiful LO. Your Mom just looks so proud!! :)
hugs,
Lisa x

Beautiful layout Ina. That photograph is priceless. I am looking forward to doing family history layouts as I have so many wonderful old photographs from my husband's family. We are currently in the middle of a move and all of my family photos have been packed. I have become a follower of the site and hope that in the future I can participate in some challenges as they sound fun!
