There's a new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers
Maike is hosting and has chosen Stitching, Faux or Real.
You can enter anything you fancy,
it doesn't have to just be cards,
as long as it meets the challenge,
and doesn't exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!
I have had this card for quite some time and it was
the first time I had ever tried embroidery on a card
so you will see some mistakes. This was made
at a card day and the cotton and card base were supplied.
However it was rather plain so I needed to
finish it off. I decided to keep it simple and
add a sentiment from Spellbinders
and a few coloured gemstones to finish.
I so enjoyed making this and have a few books
and supplies to play with but alas they have been neglected.
I did start to make another card for this challenge but
time was running out.

Well, this looks like so much fun, and I am going to try it. Something to do when I'm sitting in my recliner at night watching TV. LOVE the colors and design, really nice. Thanks for the great inspiration!!!
