It's TREND week over at Just Us Girls
and Hostess this week is Sue and chosen Pineapples
Well this threw me as I have nothing relating to them.
How excited I was when I went to my monthly
girls day out card making and our Demonstrator Tania
had chosen a card with just that.
Thanks Tania - you saved the day. All credits to you.
I didn't finish my card that day
but came home and added some splatters from a
Tim Holtz stencil. Also added a few strips
of paper under the pineapple.
Card stock is SU and has been stamped on the edges with the
pineapple stamp which is part of the
set Pop of Paradise from SU
My sentiment is from Gina K.
Now pop over to Our Blog
and check out what our October Guest Jaydee
and my Team Mates created.
Join in and you could be our Chic of the Week
and be in the running for
Guest Designer in December

Fun tropical card
Cool pineapple card and a really neat tropical design. I don't know if I have a pineapple or not either. But I am glad you found a way to create yours.
Don't you just love it when things work out like that! I felt the same way when I saw the trend....and it turned out just fine on my end too! Your card is super cute! I rarely finish my card at stamp club...I always come home and make it my own one way or another! Fabulous job! HUGS!
What a great story. Love your pineapple card.
Well this card is perfect for the challenge, and how nice that you already had most of it done. Great images, I recognized them from SU. Pretty bright colors too.
What perfect timing for your girls day card making! Your card is so cute with the addition of the flamingo (love them) and the tropical foliage. Perfect finishing touch with the splatters.
Very tropical, Ina. Don't you just love it when serendipity hands you just the thing you need. Or in this case Tania. ;)
Pretty card! I didn't think I had any pineapple related crafty items either, but found something! Love your card!
Great card design and I love the flamingo in among your fruit , your card looks fabulous..
Hugs gas Babs :))
Hello Ina! Who knew that pineapples and birds would make a cool card. If you had told me to make one, I would also have a problem. You really captured both challenges and this card is so tropical and I love all of it. Thanks for joining us at The Mod Squad Challenge this week.

Great card! I love the whole Hawaiian theme. Yeah for a girls day out for card making!
love your take on the challenge...I read that and just sat here scratching my head!!
hugs,
Karen
Ina, I love your tropical and totally fun card. The pink background with the flamingo and the edging on the sentiment give the card a wonderful girly feel - perfect that you should have created it on a girls stamping night out. I love the way you grounded the scene with the horizontal strips. Absolutely fabulous card. Thanks for having me along as GD this month
hugs
jaydee
