I have been holding on to some 'Exciting News'
for such a long time and I can now tell you all
I have been invited to be a Guest Designer
for the CAS Card Challenges
over at STAMPlorations.
As part of the Application we were asked to use 'Purple'
and I made 3 cas cards
Now of course I fell over with excitement
as you all know it is my 'favourite colour'
Here are the cards I submitted.
Water coloured background
A bit of sponging and a Tim Holtz die
An old favourite SU stamp here.
Congratulations to my fellow Team Mate over at
Just Us Girls - Chris who was also chosen to be
Guest Designer for the Theme & Sketch Team.
I am so looking forward to being part of the
Great Designers over there for the next 3 months in 2017.
A big Thank You to Shery for this great experience.

I am just jumping up and down right how....congrats to a well-deserved appointment!!! And wouldn't you know that purple was the challenge color, you were a winner before you started. Your cards are just awesome, I especially love the first one. You are the queen of backgrounds, and you have used that watercolor one just beautifully. I'm pinning - ONCE AGAIN!!!!
Well,it is no wonder with all the beautiful cards you have been making in the past years. Congratulations and they are so lucky to have you on the design team. I love all these beauties you created for this post too! You go girl!
If I remember correctly, all three of your cards made my shortlist -- I was pretty impressed when I was at the end of the selection process and was matching the cards with their creators and discovered you had made all 3 :o) My top pick was the first one, however, because I thought it perfectly shows how a card could be artsy and still be CAS. And purple is one of my favorite colors -- which is why I picked that as the color for the audition projects ;o) Welcome to the STAMP family!
I especially love your first card -strikingly beautiful! Purple is such a wonderful color - I should use it more often...
