It's So 'SWEET'

Hello Crafty Ones
Hosting our Photo Week Challenge
at Just Us Girls is Bobby
with this mouth watering photo.

I'm afraid watermelon isn't on my mind at present
(not at 4c and my wood fire burning nicely)
but it didn't stop me finding a perfectly suitable
piece of DP in my stash to make my 'Sweet' card.
I simply cut the dp on an angle added it to a
mat and card stock to match.
The sentiment is from Pink & Maine.
The Sweet stamp was heat embossed
with TH Worn Lipstick.
Added some coloured circles inking the
rubber end of a pencil and finished with
variegated cotton.

Don't forget to pop over to Our Blog
to see what our July Guest Aileen Ryan
and the Jugheads have created.
Join us and you could be Chic of the Week
and in the running for Guest Designer in September.

Thanks for dropping in -
Love reading your comments.

Definitely not 'watermelon' weather here either Ina, but your card certainly brings a cheery note to a Winter's day!

You sure captured the essence of the photo. Lucky you to have the perfect paper. Love the idea of adding the dots with a pencil and how you positioned the sentiment.

What a perfect summer celebration card Ina. Love it! It makes me smile to think of you cosy by a fire when you have made this - just like me making Christmas cards at the height of summer lol!

Woooo! I can see if you have a fire burning that watermelon would not be on your mind, but you'd never know it by this sweet design! I love it, especially the separation of the sentiment! hugs, de

No, I'm sure watermelon is NOT available in your neck of the woods right now. Do you even have it there? I love what you have done with this photo challenge, your card is perfect. Super cute!
