Bending a Branch

Hi there and Welcome to today's post.
It's for the current  CAS Christmas Card Challenge
to use an Ornament - Here are the Details.

I found it hard to get a good photo showing
how nice the gold shimmery paper is
so here is a closer look also showing
the Alcohol Inked background.
I penciled around my Kaisercraft Ornament
and fussy cut out the background
then die cut the ornament with gold paper.
Cut out my MB Woodland Branch
to attach the popped ornament too.
Added to white card stock for a stitched die line
 spritzed with SU Champagne Gold.
Die cut a Merry Christmas in the same gold paper,
adding a bow and pearl to finish.

That's another Christmas card done.
So many more to go before the end of the year.

This is a great challenge to get involved with
as they are CAS - just perfect for
that especially busy time of the year.

Thanks for dropping in.
Love reading your comments!

Love how you have married the rustic with the elegant. Hanging that gorgeous ornament on the plain, mundane branch is GENIUS!!! LOVE it!

Gorgeous ornament Ina! Love the layers with the beautiful colours of the alcohol ink background peeking through the beautiful cut=work of the ornament topper. And you've really shown it off to perfection with just a few other elements and lots of white space. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas! xx

So pretty Ina. the AI background is stunning and the gold frames it beautifully. I'm not surprised the branch is bowing from the weight of that wonderful ornament. Thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas.
