A Simple Tropical Climbing Orchid

Hello and Welcome to October!
It's Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge Day
and we have an awesome Option for you this month.
It's Tropical and what's the perfect flower for the Tropics?
Orchids of course - and that is the way I headed here.

I received the beautiful SU Climbing Orchid stamp set
as part of an early birthday gift - so perfect timing.
The background is stenciled with
Little Birdie Frosty Fizz Embossing/Texture Paste
and when heated puffs up beautifully.
I then started on the orchids with
Wow Blush Embossing Powder and coloured them with
blending Lindy's Clam Bake Beige and Cape Cod Coral
on my glass mat and spraying with water.
These were fussy cut and popped on to a
Memory Box Branch.
The leaves are inked with Tim's Oxide Pealed Paint
and the centres lightly coloured.
Had a bottle of shimmer left over so decided to add
a touch of colour to the background
as I thought it needed a little something.
Sentiment is from the set.
Finished by adhering to coloured grainy card stock.
Pop over to Our Blog to see what the other Designers created
and come join in this month.
Love to see you in the Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in - till next time

Stunning! My favorite flower, next to the thistle of course! Such a dainty die and beautifully colored and I love the stenciled dimensional background.

I'm excited to learn there is heat-reactive embossing paste out there! It's a lovely bit of texture behind this beautiful orchid. Love the colours, too.
