Welcome to the First Challenge of 2022 at
Sistah Darlene has asked us to
use the colour BLUE
which I have done here using Lindy's Afternoon Delight Denim,
wetting the w/c paper, dropping a tiny bit of powder then
blowing with a spritzer to move the wet colours for a fun backing.
Love the colours you get with just one little magic pot.
Shame they don't show up like they should in a photo.
Die cut a few wildflowers, inked them with
the leftover puddle and added a few splashes.
Fot extra interest I cut two with blue vellum.
Sentiment from STAMPlorations cut with
JustRite Die and popped.
Finished with pearls and adhered to white card base.
Pop over and see what the Sistah's created
and hope you can add your blue card to our Gallery.
#Update Sending this card over to the
CAS Mix Up Challenge for their
Elements used are
Watercolouring, air blowing colours, die cutting, stamping,
splattering and ombre.

Ina, I love this card! Your use of the color for background and on your die cuts is very appealing and creates a wonderful depth to the design. I must give your technique a try sometime. Very inspiring!
