Anything Goes at 'The House'

It's an Anything Goes Challenge over at The House
as there is an extra Wednesday in the Month
so we get to play in another Challenge Yippee!
All the details are Here

I have seen similar card like mine on Pinterest
and thought I would do my take.
I love things that aren't straight so this really appealed to me.
It is a fairly simple style which I liked.
Starting of with white card stock for my base
stencilling and top I inked the base
which is from Memory Box - Texture Wave
I used Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers and
added Memento Teal Zeal for contrast.
Inked the Repeat Impressions Butterfly - 107
with the peacock feathers and added
Stardust Stickles for shimmer.
The Sentiment is from
Inspired by Stamping - Big Hello
Finished with a few sequins and variegated cotton
which goes perfectly with the 2 toned colours I used.

I'm off next week to have some sister time so will only have
what is scheduled till I get back.
We are going to a Farewell Concert by a
Scottish couple who we have seen before
as they will not be touring again (sad)
It will bring back happy memories of our
trip back to our homeland together.

Haste ye Back as the Scots say
which means - You are Welcome Here.

I love the card and love the blue and white colors you used. Awesome design and great papers used on it. Blinged up just right too!

Wow!!! This is fantastic! First of all the bg is stunning and I love how you worked those two inks into that stencil for the effect. Secondly, the card design rocks! Thirdly, the butterfly all decked out in Stickles gives pops just the perfect bling punch! And the cotton was a wonderful bonus. Well done, SS and thanks for playing along with our challenge at The House! Haste ye Back! Enjoy your getaway!

Beautiful!!! I am a very symmetrical kind of girl, so this kind of layout is hard for me. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it when other's can pull it off (which you most definitely did!). Love the color and that beautiful butterfly. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built. Sorry it's taken me so long to comment; life has been crazy this week.
