We're painting it RED at STAMPlorations.

It's February and you know what that means
'Love' is in the air so we are
Painting the Town Red so to speak
at STAMPlorations
 All the details are  HERE!
No automatic alt text available.

Here's what I made
I had a bit of fun with the ARTplorations Zen Hearts
but you can't see a lot of it as I cut it down after the tape
I used to hold down the stencil left a mark.
(that's because I used glossy photo paper)
I watered my paper then added Brusho's
in Brilliant Red letting the colours
run slightly behind the stencil.
Don't you love how I worded my sentiments?
They are from STAMPlorations Trendy Feather 2
heat embossed in black
and CUTplorations Love Word Die
in black for a shadow effect behind the white.
Cut my card stock from 2
CUTplorations Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies
and adhered to red pearlized paper.

Here are most of the products I used

# You will have read of a few changes
when you checked out all the details above
but a quick rundown -

for a few months for you to join in. As long as you
stick to the Theme! any project is Welcome.

It's Gotta be LOVE!

Hi There and Welcome to today's posting for
Just Us Girls. It's our Word Week
and Bobby is Hosting with the word LOVE!
It is February and that says it all.

A pretty simple card concentrating on the LOVE word.
Card stock is Kraft and my background for the Love Heart die
is a mixture of Twinkling H2O's and Tim's Antique Bronze Spray
smooched around with some added lines made from the
edge of a credit card. (Idea came from Karen Dunbrook)
The gold Love Die was cut from a scrap piece of gold glitter paper
The you from Repeat Impressions is cut from a MFT die.
Added a few splatters of gold and white paint and
my Love card is done.

I'd like to Welcome our February Guest
Tenia Nelson - I'm sure everyone knows
this Super Talented Crafter and come check out
what Love Creations are in store
from us all over at Our Blog.
This Word is extremely popular for February
so I am sure there will be lots
of  Love to enjoy looking at.
Will yours be in our Gallery this week?
Hope so.

What's My Mark?

Welcome to today's post which is for the
New Challenge over at
Addicted to Stamps and More which is
Make Your Mark.

I was playing around in my craft room and wondered how
just ordinary re-inkers would look on glossy paper.
So I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised with the result.
I used SU Marina Mist/Tim's Peacock Feathers
and Dusty Concord Distress Spray Stain.
I then got out my ARTplorations A-Bloom-and-Three-Buds
and added texture paste dabbing with my fingers to get lift.
Once that was dry I Versamarked it then
covered it in PearlEx powder.
I guess you could say I really have Made my Mark!
Now I was really excited as to how gorgeous it looked.
I rubbed a bit off to get a little more colour back on the
left side. This was cut with a stitched die.
Added some coloured cs for  highlighting
then attached to Pearlized card base.
Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping cut from
a JustRight Tag.

Here's how to
Make your Mark - your entry MUST contain the use of
anything that can make a mark - Stampin' Write,
Copics, Promarkers, Painting, Chalks, Watercolours,
Sponges, Stencils, Masks etc etc

There's so much more to see from my Team Mates
so pop over and check them out Here
and come join us. Hope to see you in our Gallery.
Thanks for dropping in

It's Photo Week at Just Us Girls

It's our Photo Week and what a Beauty
Maria as Host chose for us.
What caught your eye?
There are so many elements here but
the bicycle is what I saw first
then the pretty flowers.

I love this Cherry Lynn Vintage Bicycle
which was cut from brown card stock -
the same as the base.
My embossed Brick Wall is from Kaisercraft
and inked with TH Frayed Burlap.
To go with the flowers I cut a Memory Box
Woodland Branch  and added a
multitude of coloured flowers with Nuvo Drop centres
and a few leaves from Marianne Designs.
For the Gina K sentiment I cut a MFT circle
and heat embossed in white then
cut a smaller one for the back wheel.

Don't forget to pop over To Our Blog
to see what caught the eye of our
January Guest Cathy and the Team
and come join us this week.
Hope to see you in the Gallery.

Thanks for dropping in.
Love reading your thoughts.

Hey There

Back Again - this time for the current challenge over at
Addicted to CAS and it is one of my favourites -  Ombre!

My card was reeeeeeealy easy to achieve that ombre look
because of Altenew's  Ink cubes
where you get 4 little colour coordinating pads.
This one is Cosmos -
Image result for Altenew cosmos ink
I went with the darkest to lightest.
The background stamping is from
changing the stamps direction each time.
The floral image is part of the
Kaisercraft Secret Bird Collection Stamp Set.
I stamped my sentiment  from
Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler
then cut with Spellbinders Scalloped die.
Inked the edges but still was missing something
so lightly sponged inside.
Now I couldn't decide what card base to use.
Tried black - yuk! left it for a while and came back
and it hit me! Just use white and lightly ink
the background from the same stamp set.
Here is what it looks like -
 stmp1060.jpeg
I used the lightest ink and I was happy.
Popped it and my cas card is complete.

Check out the Details for this challenge  Here

Thanks for dropping back in again so quickly.

It's Black - White - and -

Hello there and Welcome!
I found this great blog called Daring Cardmakers recently
and their current challenge really appealed to me so...
here is what I made -
for their Black - White - Pop challenge.
There are so many colours that go perfectly
with black/white and I chose red.
My card base is basic black.
The lace background is from
SU Delicate Details (may be retired)
I love that it looks like real lace.
The black & white leaves behind my flower
are from Marianne Dies.
My red flower is from
STAMPlorations Trendy Spring Blooms
stamp and die set.
I cut the back part of the flower with red card stock
carefully keeping all the die cut bits in place
then again heat embossing in red
this time taking out all the petals.
The floral centre has been sprinkled with black glitter.
My Thank you is cut from a MFT stitched die
inked in red and from the same set.

That's all for now so -  till next time

A Tic Tac Toe 'Hello'

Hi there and Welcome.
Today's post is for the Current Challenge

I have been having soooooooo much fun
with glad wrap these last few weeks I thought
I would use one for my cas card.
As you can see I chose
the Bottom Row from left to right
(sequins, watercolour, square.)
I spritzed water on glossy photo paper
then sprinkled Brusho's covering it
with glad wrap, moving it around
to create creases and patterns.
I added a frame to the front
and popped it onto my square piece of
basic white card stock.
Added the sequins and a Hello die
from CUTplorations and my
cas card is done.

so will pop my card there too.

Thanks for dropping in
Till next time - Cherrio from

I'm Hosting this week at Just Us Girls

I'm Hosting over at Just Us Girls for Colour Week.
and chose these colours as they just scream
Tim's Oxide Inks to me.
I decided to make a fancy fold to show off
the beautiful butterflies from the latest
Stamp Set/Die from STAMPlorations called
Fluttery and Fluttery Dies
These were inked with
Spiced Marmalade/Fossilized Amber
and Peacock Feathers with an extra one
cut and added to the middle.
I sponged the edges and then added
some random stamping from
SU Timeless Textures.
Added a butterfly to the inside with
a sentiment from STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2
and there you have it.

Now pop over to Our Blog to see what our
January Guest Cathy and the Team created.
Hope you find time to join us this week.
Love to see you in the Gallery.

It's simply a 'Deer'

Hey there Crafty Ones - today post is for
the new Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More
and I couldn't be happier when I saw the beautiful mood board
for our Photo Inspiration Challenge.
You will know what caught my eye as
you will have seen me using this gorgeous deer from
a few times now and what got me excited also was
the amazing ribbon I used which came all the way from Scotland
with my Christmas card - how perfect.
This was a simple card to make using black card stock and
gold paper to frame my deer.
I simply smotheredthe black card with Versamark
and heat embossed in gold.
Added some Inka Gold splatters,
that beautiful ribbon and some
Starform strips down either side.
My Merry Christmas sentiment was also
heat embossed and from Gina K Designs.
Yay! my first Christmas card for 2018.
