Challenge #78 - SAS4Kids Happy Father's Day from the Kids

Our latest challenge over at Send a Smile 4 Kids
is to make a card for Father's Day from the Kids.

Father's Day here in Australia is in September
so there is plenty of timefor us Aussie's to get creative -
but why wait till the last minute
Get crackin' and make it for this Challenge.
You could send it/them over to some sick children
and make another for later on... They will be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I made for this challenge.

I so love pre coloured digi images and this cute guy is from
Fred She Said who is one of our generous sponsor's
who is giving the Winner a $10 Gift Certificate

I used the following on this card
Black White Blue & Red card stock
Tim Holtz Embossing Folder
Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Spellbinders Circles
Variegated Twine and Brads
Added a dot of Dimensional Magic on the heart.

Our second sponsor is Stitchy Bear who is giving the Winner
3 Images to a $10 value. The digi image I chose is Flat Tire

I used the following items on this card
Black Brown & White card stock
Memory Box Texture Waive for the background
Petite Ovals
Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping Masculine Things
Iced Spruce Distress Ink
Flower Soft Polar White for the snow
Glitter
Starform Sticker

I had printed out a couple of images and the card below
was the first one I made.
While I was waiting for the snow to dry
(I used Stickles Frosted Lace)
I decided to play around with the image and make a second one.
Because the image is small I added some glitter
instead of flower soft to the snow.

We do have a 3rd sponsor with a generous prize of a
$25 Gift Certificate

That's it for me for this challenge.
Hope to see you again soon -

The grunge effect on the orange paper is Kaisercraft
The great truck image is from Mark's Finest Papers
Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping
Image is heat embossed in black
Jute String
I used a gold Sakura Pen for highlights
and the truck is coloured with Faber-Castell watercolour pencils.

I would also like to enter this card in
The colours there are Orange Black & Brown.

That's it for now - thanks for stopping by
