I 'LOVE' Purple

Hi and Welcome to today's post.
It's Saturday so it's Just Us Girls Day

The heading says it all for me
PURPLE!
and Host this week is Carol
(ps she may not be aware that it is my
favourite colour)

The lovely purple floral image is
STAMPlorations Large French Marigold
heat embossed with Zing Metallic Silver.
I fussy cut and popped it after smooching some
watercolour paper with Tim's Wilted Violet
and Iridescent Medium.
My white background is embossed with
Kaisercraft Bricks.
The die behind the flower is cut from silver paper
with the Textured Weather Die also from Kaisercraft.
My silver love die sentiment is from CUTplorations.

Pop over and see what our April Guest Karren
and the Jugheads created for your inspiration
then join us in the Gallery.

PS 'cause I love purple I have another card made
and will post it in a few days as a Reminder!

Thanks for dropping in

Bending a Branch

Hi there and Welcome to today's post.
It's for the current  CAS Christmas Card Challenge
to use an Ornament - Here are the Details.

I found it hard to get a good photo showing
how nice the gold shimmery paper is
so here is a closer look also showing
the Alcohol Inked background.
I penciled around my Kaisercraft Ornament
and fussy cut out the background
then die cut the ornament with gold paper.
Cut out my MB Woodland Branch
to attach the popped ornament too.
Added to white card stock for a stitched die line
 spritzed with SU Champagne Gold.
Die cut a Merry Christmas in the same gold paper,
adding a bow and pearl to finish.

That's another Christmas card done.
So many more to go before the end of the year.

This is a great challenge to get involved with
as they are CAS - just perfect for
that especially busy time of the year.

Thanks for dropping in.
