'Miss You'

Bobby is Hosting our Photo Week at Just Us Girls
and chosen this gorgeous photo below.

I am not a pumpkin kind of person so chose
an old sunflower stamp for my Inspiration.

I have been lucky enough to be in a plane
above a massive paddock filled with these beautiful flowers.
What an awesome site!

I thought it fitting to go with Kraft card stock
and continue with earthy tones.
Products I used here are -
SU - Woodgrain background stamp
Sunflower stamp - Print Blocks Australia
Black embossing powder
Water colour pencils
Sizzix banner
Corner rounder
Pearls
Paper Smooches Sentiment
Burlap/Jute string
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
Memento Peanut Brittle
SU Garden Green
White Uniball pen for centre of flower.
Don't forget to pop over Here
to see how our Guest Kathy
and the Team were inspired.

Thinking PINK!

While I was playing around with pink colours for
the September CAS colour challenge over at
STAMPlorations Blog I couldn't stop.

I wanted to try a few items I hadn't used before
so this card came together easily.
Again I mainly focused on the Twist as my main colour.

Details can be found Here

I used basic white card stock. For my image
inside the frame ( by Die-Namics)
I water coloured with TH distress inks in
Abandoned Coral/Victorian Velvet
and Spun Sugar
Topping this with a stencil from TCW
with White Texture Paste.
The stitched edge is from Nina's Things
The floral flourish  from Marianne Designs.
Sentiment is Inspired by Stamping
Finished with a gem on the flower
after popping the frame.

It's Autumn over the pond but really it is
Spring on my side.

our latest challenge.
That can be autumn colours, or autumn themes such as harvest or falling leaves etc.

I knew I had similar leaf stamps and this was
a great challenge to showcase my make.

Other - SU
Inks - Tim Holtz Distress Inks
