Just a Note...

Hey Folks!
Time to show you what our Host Angie
chose for Colour Week at Just Us Girls
and aren't they gorgeous!

Colour Challenges are one of my
All Time Favourites!
I decided it was time to get out one of my favourite
oldie but goodie SU stamp/die sets for this one.
It's Four Feathers.
Made a fun background for them by just
scrunching up my Kraft paper and
then inked with Tim's Frayed Burlap
on the creases then tore around the edges.
My feathers were inked with
Memento Rhubarb Stalk
Tim's Peacock Feathers and
Hero Arts Unicorn - cut and popped.
I forgot I hadn't added the jute string when I
added glue all over the kraft paper
so quickly did that - sticky fingers and all!
Added a jute bow and 3 tiny punched circles
beside my Gina K sentiment.

Pop over to Our Blog to check out what
February Guest Tenia and the Team created.
Hope you get time to join us this week.
See you in the Gallery?

Corking it for the CAS Mix Up Challenge.

Hey there I'm Back!
I have just spent the most amazing few weeks of
fun filled craft time with my bff
creating and trying out new things.
This was the first card I made and is for the
I just had to wait till I got home
so I could add to my Blog.
I knew as soon as I saw the Mix I knew I wanted to use cork.
My friend has an EBosser so the cork die just cut out beautifully.
I think I will add this to my Wishlist for the future as I loved using it.
It is from Tim Holtz Wildflowers.
This was such a cas quick card to make.
All I needed was the cream card stock
my cork wild flower, an inked up sentiment
using distress inks and distressing/inking the edges.
My Mix is - Cork, Die Cut, Distressing and Stamping.
You will find that some of my postings
will be a little light on with products
I used while I was away as there was so much going on
I didn't get time to write it all down.
Too busy playing!
Hope you like what I made. Love to read your thoughts!
Thanks for dropping by.

Still in the Mood for Love

Morning Craft Ones. Seems I'm still in the mood for a
'Bit More Love'  so created a lovie dovie card
you could give to anyone!

I did a bit of white texture pasting on my stenciled background
from the ARTplorations Rows-of-Hearts.
Cut this with the
CUTplorations Double-Running-Stitch-Rectangle-Nesting-Dies
I then inked and fussy cut  my popped jar from
STAMPlorations Vignette Eclectic Florals
filling it to overflowing with heart shapes.
The CUTplorations Love-Word-Die was cut with
red foil (as was some of the hearts and the Cuttlebug U)
And there you have it!
Have you played over at STAMPloratons for our

A Simple Thank You

Today's post is all about Clean & Simple for

I love it when a card comes together easily as this did.

Thank You sentiment is from SU.
Finished with a few pearls.
