This was 'Costly' but..........

Hi and Welcome.
The cards I have made for today's post are costly
but I loved buying the products I used for our
Trend Week at Just Us Girls
You see quite some time ago
Bobby (this weeks Host)
asked us for our thoughts on Alcohol Inks.
so a  BIG THANK YOU
to you Bobby for picking this as it was
something I didn't own and I have had
great joy and fun experimenting with these
fascinating addictive little bottles.
I played and played with them and in the end
I didn't know which pieces I wanted to use and how.
I landed up with 2 here.
ThE one above is pretty cas using lots of
different AI's on Yupo Paper and just cut on an angle
matting part of the back with
SU card stock in Hello Honey
The sentiment and inking is also SU.
The one below - I didn't know if I liked or not.
Again I used a variety of colours on Yupo Paper
die cutting  my Perky Poppy from Memory Box
and framing it. Added a Gina K sentiment
cut from a Kaisercraft Die.
Adhered to basic white card stock.

I know we will have so many fascinating creations
in our Gallery at Just Us Girls this week.
Do go over and check out what our
June Guest Talented Hannelie and
the Team made for your inspiration.
Hope to see yours there.

PS I will be at our yearly Craft Show
(it's a few hours away by bus/train/car)
mingling among the crowds looking
and of course purchasing some new goodies
when this post goes live.
I had a ball last year staying for 3 days
but sadly it's just me this year and only for a day.

Thanks for dropping in.

If Nothing Ever Changed -

Hello and Welcome. Today's post is for the
Anything Goes with Dies Challenge over at

I started the background for my butterfly
with a Brusho background then added
a stitched die cut frame behind it.
I then cut out the die outline of
my butterfly and again using the same
stitched frame set only the smaller size
popping it in front of the Brusho background.
I then added the detailed butterfly die to my outline.
Finished with some splatters, pearls and sentiment.
The products I used here are

Gone 'Potty' for Addicted to Stamps and More

Hello and Welcome.
I'm here today for our new Challenge over at
As you can see it's our photo challenge

Now I was stumped with this photo as I
have NO succulent stamps in my stash
and the next best thing was to concentrate
on what I did have - a pot to put my
pretty flowers in. I didn't even go with the
pretty coloured ones here - must have been
in my own little world. I think the dp I chose
had a bit to do with that.

The stamp I used here is
and has the stamps and dies - Yay!
I started with my background which is a grunge
digi paper from Doodle Pantry. I attached that
to a white card base and added a teeny strip
of paper to the side adding colour and to match my potted flowers.
I embossed some white card stock with an old CB folder
then cut out part of a circle with a MFT stitched die.
Attached that to my background
and went to work on my flowers.
The green leaves are from a WOS pen and the flowers
coloured with SU markers.
I then concentrated on the pot playing with a variety
of products - Magicals in burnt orange
coloured markers to get a worn look
and inside with some Prima Artisan Powder
leaving it as is to look like 'real dirt'.
This was popped after I stamped and cut out
my sentiment tucking it behind the pot.
Added a few gems to finish.

Here's the Set I used.

Funny enough I used this set just recently.
