What's the Trend at Just Us Girls?

Welcome to today's post -
it's Trend Week at Just Us Girls
and Nancy is Hosting choosing Tags.
It can be just a Tag or a Tag on your card.

I'm not a big Tag Maker so wasn't sure
which way I would go with this Challenge.
I have had some lovely handmade flowers
in my stash for an age so decided to  get them out
and see which one to use.
Of course the purple one popped out
(forgetting how hard that colour is to photograph)
and I just carried on from there.
My tag bases are just plain old parcel tags
which were inked, stamped, heat embossed
with a touch of glitter. Cut the bottom
with a MS punch and added some gems.
Behind my flower is some mulberry torn paper
and bits of lace etc.
I then added some organza ribbon to both tags
and crinkled it with my heat gun.
After all this was done I decided it too much
to add to a card so - it's simply a TAG!

Thanks for dropping in.
Hope you will check out what our
February Guest Tenia Nelson and
the Jugheads created and come join in the fun.
Hope to see you in Our Gallery this week.

Happy Birthday

Hello and Welcome!
Today's post is for the latest Challenge
for their February Anything Goes with Dies.

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE
Bonus!
IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS
AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER,
YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

With trillions of dies out 'There" it is so easy
to make a card of any kind.

I found this gorgeous napkin in my bit drawer
and decided to use just a wee piece as a
feature backing for my Happy Birthday Die.
I cut out a SB square then scrunched
the napkin being careful not to
take out the creases. I lathered up
the square then simply glued the napkin
to it. Cut out another SB square - the next size up
attached the napkin and popped to the card base.
I had cut a yellow die but didn't suit
but used the 3 little yellow die cut hearts
to add a touch more colour.

Here's a close up showing the texture.

Pop on over to check what my Team Mates
Die Cut Creations are then come join us.
Look forward to seeing you in our Gallery.
Thanks for visiting today.

We're painting it RED at STAMPlorations.

It's February and you know what that means
'Love' is in the air so we are
Painting the Town Red so to speak
at STAMPlorations
 All the details are  HERE!
No automatic alt text available.

Here's what I made
I had a bit of fun with the ARTplorations Zen Hearts
but you can't see a lot of it as I cut it down after the tape
I used to hold down the stencil left a mark.
(that's because I used glossy photo paper)
I watered my paper then added Brusho's
in Brilliant Red letting the colours
run slightly behind the stencil.
Don't you love how I worded my sentiments?
They are from STAMPlorations Trendy Feather 2
heat embossed in black
and CUTplorations Love Word Die
in black for a shadow effect behind the white.
Cut my card stock from 2
CUTplorations Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies
and adhered to red pearlized paper.

Here are most of the products I used

from the STAMPlorations Team

# You will have read of a few changes
when you checked out all the details above
but a quick rundown -

for a few months for you to join in. As long as you
stick to the Theme! any project is Welcome.
So GO FOR IT!
